Watched this one they didn’t tell enough so I kept searching and found you / this one it was funny, really helpful and but most of all it was entertaining to watch. What if you get the place and killer right but not the weapon? Or the weapon and place correct and not the person etc?
You can name in the Suggestion cards in your own hand if you wish, in order to gain info or mislead others.

Um, I have a question
The phone version of the game will cause a suggested character to end up in the room he/she was suggested at. Does that apply in the real thing?
yes, you move the suggested character to the room, but this is not required you can house rule it to not do this.:-)
two things do you have to do the initial thing at the top of the card to mark for people cards and also if i use a secret passage can i make an accusation once traveled
1. You can mark your sheet anyway you want. 2. yes you can accuse or make a suggestion after a secret passage move.
So if someone suggests a character, that character is moved to that room no matter where he is on the board and must play his next turn from that room? So one character could just keep being moved to various rooms rather than getting to move around the board for own suggestions?
That is the way the rules are written. Keep in mind while in a hall way you cannot make a suggestion, so this could help an opponent get into a room faster.
My box didnt come with weapons that you placed in the rooms, i have cards though, does that mean i cant play the game normaly?
You don't need the weapons, you can still accuse without placing them in the rooms

If on left one guy shows one card from the suggestion stil does it mean the next guy to show from his/her card if he also has one from suggestions card.

No, you only see a card from one person
So there must be only one person who must show their cards to you every suggestion?
The person on your left would show to you if they have any of the suggested cards. Followed by the others. If they have more than 2 cards, they must only show once.

What do you do when your in a room
Hi, not really in the rules but since clue cards are overpowered, if a clue card is asking for a specific clue (like everyone must show if they have miss Scarlett or anything) you will read it privately and give it to a player, if they have none, discard the card. Just a suggestion to your games :)
Btw question: can you still make a move if you draw a clue card?
Yes, the magnifying glass on the dice counts as a 1 for movement and you draw a card. The clue cards are very powerful and can swing the game for sure!
So am I going to play with the characters I get, or I will choose only one random character?
You can choose a character randomly or select one if everyone agrees, friendly rules!
What about if you get 2 players on accident?

Bro can we make a suggestion when even the cards of suggestion are with us. For example: if I have plum, scarlet and dagger, candlestick and hall, lounge.i suggest that plum killed him with wrench in the lounge. Bro plz help me
Yes, asking about cards in your hand is a valid strategy. In fact I consider it to be quite useful.
i have a question, in your suggestions, are you only allowed to suggest a room that your in? for example if i’m in the library can i only suggest library as my room or can i suggest any room i want? also if someone rolls a certain amount on the dice and does not get into a room can they still suggest or are you not allowed to suggest on tiles
Yes. Only the room you are in.
Hello. Nice and helpful video. I have some questions please! If i go to a room that already has a weapon but i want to ask about another weapon is it a problem to get the other as well in the same room? What's the use of them? If we are more than two players and i ask the question do i ask all of the players or only the person on my left? If he has the cards and shows them to me won't the rest realise he has them? Does he have to tell me the truth or he can trick me? Sorry, i'm new and have many..... Merry Christmas!!!
The weapons are just there for reminders, you just move them between rooms freely to show the weapon you are asking about. So you can have more than one weapon in a room. Yes, You ask the person on your left about a room, weapon, and suspect, they only show you one card. So the rest of the players only know it is one of the three. If they don't have either of those cards the next person to the left shows one to you if they have one, and so on. Hope this helps.

What I don't understand is what incentive do you have to move to other rooms of you can make an suggestion about another room or weapon.
You must be in the room you are asking about, but you can make a final accusation from any room

What happens after you accuse and put the weapon and token in the room and people show u the cards and the have that person etc? Do u leave the weapon and toke in that room??
Just leave the tokens in the room. It is just there as a reminder.
Do you read the clue cards out loud
What if one has two cards of the suggestions? The other has to show only one of them right? But what if the next suggestion has both of those cards? Does the other player has to show the other or can show the same card as previously?
No, they can show the same card as many times they are able to

No, you stay in the room.
Another spin, that my instruction booklet says --- which imo, makes it a way better game for 2 players ---- is ---- before dealing out all the cards to the players, place 4 cards, in 4 random rooms... So each player, will HAVE TO, go to those rooms, to see those cards, b4 solving the case;)

You must have all three correct to win when you look in the envelope.

How do you decide who is scarlet? Does the person who has the character card or the color of the pawn. Pls help me
At the beginning of the game each player selects a different color pawn. The pawn represents your character and you position on the board.
So wat if scarlet is the card put in the envelope

I have a question. If you don’t get into a room but you roll a Clue card, are you still supposed to take a Clue card?
yes, anytime you roll the magnifying glass, you take a clue card

Why is the u in clue red? What’s the difference between clue and cluedo?
If you turn the "U" sideways it looks like a question mark. Clue is the US version of the game, whereas Cluedo is the UK version. They are essentially the same game with just minor differences that won't affect the actual game play. The differences are the naming of the characters and some of the weapon objects.

Kosteri x see the line or square if the u facing the L? If you turn it sideways in the direction of where the E is you can see a ? but without the dot.
So, basically this board game is just a guessing game, it has the theme of a "Murder mystery" game but the game does not operate like a "Murder mystery" game where you need strong evidences, alibi, and suspicious behavior from other players.
I didn't know that if everyone made false accusations no one won. I figured the last player left in the game was the winner.

The initials on the top. Then cross out the who/what/where depending on the cards u were dealed. Not sure this helped but oh well
If you occupy a room with a weapon, does it mean that whoever occupies the room gets the weapon?
You don't really get weapons, they are just placed in rooms as reminders of the last question or accusation
What is the point of moving the weapons pieces into the room when you make a suggestion? I’ve never understood that.
Just to help you remember who accused what where.
So what happens if you are playing with 4 people and all 3 people on your turn showed you nothing? Doesn't that give it away to the next player that the combination of suspect, room, and weapon you just asked are the 3 that are in the solution folder?
yes, but you can accuse immediately if this happens, it would not move to the next player's turn yet
@@GameandParty or you can fake it to confuse people,for example you know the room and you have the weapon and the charachter in your hand.So you suggest the two cards you have and the room you know were the murder happend.Nobody is gonna show you anything and you dont make and acusation after.It will win you some time and make your oponents lose time to figure out wich of the three cards you have

You can pick a character randomly or let players decide
I know this is an older video, but I still always like to make this comment on Clue videos. The one problem we had at our last play through (which made it our "last" playthrough) was the fact that it was getting pretty close that everyone had figured out who the character was. And they kept pulling his character into various rooms. This made it very difficult for that player to get anywhere or play the game because he could never get his character around the board. As soon as he got close to a room, someone would yank him up and move him across the board. Maybe the rules have changed, but earlier, you had to be IN the room you wanted to make an accusation in. otherwise why would you need to visit rooms? Great classic game to teach games with deductive reasoning. Thanks for the memories!

Only one person shows you. Starting with the person to your left. If they have nothing to show it goes to the next person to the left until one person has shown you a card.

Yes, Clue is just the North American name. Cluedo is the rest of the world.
Can you accuse your own character? This is what confuses me... The board pieces are also the suspect cards.

yes, this is confusing, your character could be the murderer, but you still want to solve the case, even if you are the murderer, Maybe is was an accident:-)

You are not the suspects. You are detectives and you are investigating more about the murder using the suspects by questioning and suggesting.

You would need to move to make a suggestion about a different room, you can only suggest the room you are in, you can make a final accusation about any room in any room

@@mariamyupperz7614 Yes, there are two things, Suggestions and Accusations, you must be in the room matching your room suggestion, your final accusation can be in any room. Staying in the same room would not be wise, because opponents could just keep showing you the same room card instead of weapons and suspects.

We dont play that way. You gotta roll the dice and move. Cant go back into a room you've exited in the same roll.

You have to be in the room to make a suggestion about that room, but not when you make final guess
What the hell is a clue card?
Some kind of new addition to modern day versions of Clue. It's basically the Chance and Community Chest cards of this boardgame.
