Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens. Choose from a variety of traits and items to create unique builds and survive until help arrives.

A spaceship from Potato World crashes onto an alien planet. The sole survivor: Brotato, the only potato capable of handling 6 weapons at the same time. Waiting to be rescued by his mates, Brotato must survive in this hostile environment.

If Blobfish can nerf Reto, they probably would. Every character is kinda OP in his hands. I sucked bad when I played this character tonight
it works good whit explosive weapons as explosive dmg isnt crippled by 80%

try a burn build with it. (with wand worked for me) trust me its really fun
@@brenopaz9129 I tried Renegade Wand and Renegede Turret. Both are fun, lol. After several fails, finally won both wand and turret runs
@@chie970I used all smgs and was able to get ricochet where they will bounce of a enemy so every single enemy on screen was getting hit at all times
Every new character so far is interesting and all unique in a fun way.

Btw his projectiles do apply to turrets its suprisingly good.
Build Idea for a two-character run:
Multitasker + Renegade + SMG. Fill the screen with as many bullets as possible~!
what about Shotgun instead of SMG?
shotgun wouldn't be as powerful, but definitely would make a whole swimming pool of bullets
I am wathich another youtuber playing brotato and I love that different RUclipsrs go for different angles on the characters and I can see various builds for this.. that's great. you can go for laser gun, or smg.. that's fun
Looking through at slow speed Baby with a Beard is affected by Renegades passive and spawns 3 bullets on kill. Though it also gets -50% accuracy so it misses a lot
Btw, the "multiple projectiles" part works on turrets
Which are not affected by the damage reduction...
Takes a bit of work but is really interesting
streamer luck on that bounce item :p explosion weapons are probably best in slot as explosion damage upgrades should not get lowered by the character trait
if you GMO 2x renegade, damage % goes on reverse and you start with +400% dmg. +damage% modifiers lowers damage and -damage% modifiers increase dmg.
Had fun with that last night. Medical gun shotgun mode, almost killed lvl30 bosses.. Almost
This character plus it's self in the gmo mod would be bonkers.
Could you do a shredder only build with renegade?
Or smg?
Freaking laser shotgun from borderlands.

You should get the fusion mod for this game and combine this characters with the king.

FYI: Lich is also a really easy/quick way to unlock the 1hp challenge.
Even ezier: Hunter on wave 1. Get hit 5 times and play the rest flawlessly and avoid money

Should have grabbed that Sniper Rifle, it's amazing on the Renegade!
Are some characters’ unlocks hidden? Because I have way fewer on the selection screen that Retro.

i was playing beta and i got an update and now it doesn't work what do i do
The 1HP Unlock is much easier. Just play stage one and survive with 1 HP or restart. Easy and fast. Because it's not max HP.
i just tried GMO twin Renegade, i found something interesting: first +4 piercing +2 projectiles on everything is crazy is crazy. -160% damage mod reuce with -400% translates into +480 damge mod (-12 becaus eof 20+ increase for having at least one tier1 item). Ghost scepter was never that good ^^, and then i got blood donation and triangle of power... free extra +70 damage percent ^^at wave 20 on endless i transitioned into lasers, as i already had 700 odd hp, and stomach so no more on kills needed.
Am I not in 1.0 update or smth cause I don’t got none of those new characters accuracy and other stuff

You should do an smg run with this character though. It seems like feast or famine.
The math on this guy is pretty interesting. No matter what damage % you get, you'll always be at exactly 1/5 the damage you would otherwise have. It's effectively just a completely separate multiplier
Played this character yesterday and can confirm that turrets also fire multiple projectiles. Too bad you can't equip melee because a wrench build with this character seems likes it could be really busted.

Also double Renagade in GMO,
Your character has very bad aim and 4 extra bullets but hits like a truck. Avoid tier 1 items.
actually some melee weapons should be quite effective like cactus club or lightning shiv and other melee scaling weapons like shuriken would also work
renegate could be good with ghost scepter since every bullet can kill so it will speed up its kill count for bonus hp
