    Wow i can't even believe that u put this back together. There's gotta be a 1,000 pieces here. One of the most technical pieces I've seen restored. Love that screwdriver u have.

    Seeing the inner workings of one of these machines let’s you appreciate an Eastman and helps you understand why Eastman are so expensive.

      may have been a surface preservative, protecting it from the elements? Farmers used to slather old machinery in common oil based paint for long term storage...

      Yes this is true. Fake videos all over here these days. It was an old machine, there is no need to apply mud to it. Very disappointing.

    You always do a good job and I have been in parts of Asia where there are similar types of clay and boy is viscous when wet and so sandy when dry. Despite what people about the opening shots the interior of machine tell the story of neglect and age.

    I think you need three things to be able to do a restoration like that: 1) A degree in Mechanical Engineering [a masters or doctorate preferred]; 2) Excellent memory; 3) uncorrupted video of the disassembly. That restoration is beyond my imagination, great job!

    Pushed a few of them things at a garment factory. BTW pile up like 64 layers of denim and shove it through while following a pattern. Super fun. No thanks, you can keep it!

    It looked like a survivor of the tsunami... why the hate guys? It was a beautiful restoration, selection of paint & return to function. Keep up the good work... problem is there are truly so many fakes out there it's hard to tell what is real.

    I see that the bottom element with the wheels was painted, but in originally there is no paint on it. While you will be cutting the fabric the paint will wear off. We have the same cutter at home

    Great start to the video, really. But preliminary painting with mud was unnecessary. And without a layer of dried mud it would be interesting.
    Music in such videos is absolutely redundant.
    It seems to me that it should not have been painted with silver paint all totally.
    A lot of work has been done and the efforts expended are respected. Is there a result. I like it with pleasure.

    Даже если бы ты попросту покрасил эту вещь тебя бы все равно смотрели, не пачкай пожалуйста больше предметы в грязь, не стоит таким образом приманивать зрителя, по внутренностям же видно что устройство не нуждается в сильной реставрации ....

It looks forced is what we are saying and as subscribers we feel cheated. Granted what he is doing is for free but its shoddy to lie to your audience. I hope ive made it abundantly clear why the video feels fake.

    Why do so many of these people smear the projects with mud at the beginning so that they appear dirtier than they should
    It'd be one thing if it was one person but no, there's so many people who do it and it's some kind of phenomenon

    The mud bit may be staged but how can the restoration be fake?
    Did he not disassemble and then re assemble the piece? Was it a well used and worn piece? Yep, he did . A bit of smeared on mud makes it a little more entertaining. Enjoy it for what it is or don’t watch
