@@Chill_Cube If you have prior game development experience it shouldn't be hard just takes time as with anything, Roblox studio was designed to be similar to other game engines, take game maker studio and unity for example
This was a great video and it's easy to follow thx ghosty For those that care about the data: Archivable is a value that determines whether or not something can be cloned via a script. that lighting looks very good, and also thank you for listing out some of the plugins since i was trying to find the ros editor plugin for a pretty long time now
I have 2 questions, First, Do you make your own textures? Second, if you do, would you ever make a pack like Bingus Particle Pack but instead we pay for the pack with robux
you can download a plugin to adjust the sun/moon position, just mess around with the atmosphere/lighting settings to achieve something similar to how mine looks
I know I'm a bit late to this question but why is there a delay when I press enable? the particle doesn't show up until like 3 seconds later. Also I'm wondering what emit() In moon animator does, I'm not sure how it works since I don't know how to use it.
im not sure about the delay, i think the lifetime/rate has something to do with that. either that, or you're lagging i explained this in part 2 but emit is basically you emitting a single particle. say that you want only 5 particles on screen, you emit 5 rather than enabling and waiting for 5. its very useful
@@ghxstying thanks for the reply man. Unfortunately I don't think I'm lagging but that may be it. with regards to the emit() I can't seem to get my particle to emit in the animation using emit() as a particle property. Do you know how I'd go about setting it up when using moon animator? I have a plugin for emit so I get what it means but I don't know how to use it in an animator.
Hey this is an alright video but I’d recommend you read up on the docs so you’re knowledgeable about it, seems like this is like an unscripted ramble of a video. You should also add chapter timestamps so it's easy to skip to the important parts. (make sure the first timestamp is 0:00)
comment if you have any questions
you fell off 👽👽
nah im messin
how does the bezier plugin work
Is there a timestamp where you talk about the plugins?
Is there a time stamp where you explain the plugins functions?
I quit Roblox gamedev but Jesus this would have been so useful back then, it was so hard to wrap my head around particle fx
You should probably get back!
@@Hoo123m12 agree!
do you use another game engine nowadays? if so, what do you use and how easy is it for a roblox dev to transition?

youre completely right lmao its entirely unscripted, i just talked abt my knowledge of the properties
Do I need scripting for this or I do not
i dont use plugins, should i?
What sites are good for spritesheets like the fire one you used?
www.magicsart.com/plugin.php?id=image_lib:index&fid=80&sid=100&tid=101
Is blender?
I thought this was Blender for a second. lol
what plugin gives emit delay?
