  • Today, I made steak fries with peppercorn sauce, steak frites au poivre, as part 6 of my steak series! I've made something very similar before, made with compound butter, but I had to include this delicious classic steak dish in the steak series regardless!
Delicious fries dipped in properly made peppercorn sauce is one of the tastiest bites you can have in French cuisine, I highly recommend you guys to try! (at home or at a restaurant!)
This method of fries were inspired from Chefsteps videos. While it was crispier than the triple cooked chips, I'd say triple cooked chips had more potato flavor.

Not too sure if there is a category of these fries, I called the 'pringles style fries' 😂 glad to hear peppercorn sauce turned out well, so happy to hear that! Thank you so much for watching 🙏

Oh my god!! The way you made the fries from mashed potatoes. Making this very soon. That means as soon as I go to the butcher and buy veal bones and make the reduction:) I'm going to do this next week.

It's so boring that all the youtubes just copy each others recipies. Has been done so much lately.

@@hawrify2148 I think the first channel that came out was chef steps with steak frites. They recommend frying in in beef fat, if I remember correctly.
Than you have 5 other youtuber who followed the exect same recipe with little variations.

A little sad to hear that but I'll take it as a criticism to be more creative 😁
