We used to watch pink panther with my friend as kids, and we memorized and kept repeating the part saying, ' threaten me will you Deveroux, you're rotten and dishonest 😂😂

That was the first episode where I have ever seen him talk!?! Got to admit, I love the cool cat when he doesn’t talk, but it’s always cool to be a man or a panther with few words and a jazzy beat 😎🎺
P.P. is so much better silent instead of having the bad voice and accent. The Pink Panther show exhibited real talent in conveying what was going on WITHOUT the characters actually talking and that was a big part of the charm and success of the toon....

Probably the last pink cartoons from late 80’s and the few you see pink talk.
This was one of the coolest episode I saw in childhood and it's still coolest 😍😎
I think they had him talk in this one because the other two men were talking so much. And this was the right voice for him, a British accent.
There have been other episodes where people talked and the panther didn't.
The only acceptable choice for the panther is david niven
