More Than 90 Animals Rescued from Arkansas

More than 90 cats and dogs, many in urgent need of veterinary attention, were rescued from a White County, Ark., property after authorities discovered them living in filth and suffering from a lack of basic care. Arkansas State Police called in The Humane Society of the United States and other area and national organizations, including Central Arkansas Rescue Efforts for Animals, The Humane Society of Saline County, and RedRover, to assist in the rescue and removal of the animals.
there was a time i rescued 3 puppies fell down to the gutter. It was deep and a mess.
My feet and arms were bleeding while reaching to them.
After that someone asked me "why would you that? why risk yourself for those dirty puppies? you could get infected."
I looked into his eyes and said "If we don't do this, what makes us human then?"
I took the puppies with me to my friend's house. She has 2 dogs and she wouldn't mind took another 3.
Now they are so big, happy and healthy.

Ultimate Ducknugget me too. When I grew up I had a passion to cure any kind of animals. Too see animals like this makes me cry. Why would people do this to animals if the animals never did anything to them. I practice on helping animals now. I rescued 2 puppies from the dumpster, like literally someone threw puppies in the dumpster. They are twins one boy and one girl they are three years old but one didn't make it last summer because she had worms from the start, got pregnant with 8 puppies and when they started nursing from her, she got weaker and didn't make it. The 8 puppies died as well because they're insides got ate up by worms. That was the most horrific day for me. They died one by on. I rescued another dig it is a chihuahua and it was getting abused by the owner and about to get sent to the animal shelter for doing nothing wrong. The other dog was getting treated like a king and it kept beating up the chihuahua. That's why I want to be a veteranirian. What grade are you in

When I'm an adult, I will never let any dog be neglected, hurt or harmed.
My Auntie volunteered to help with The Nevada Humane Society and a woman called to ask them to take the 150 cats she was keeping in her caravan. She had a heart of gold but just couldn't look after them all. She was starving herself to feed them. Now, they all have loving homes.
I cried, no SOBBED when i saw the conditions. It is so comforting to know that there are people like HSUS that help animals. God bless

oh my god. I can't help but cry. I live in white County. if I would have know that this is happening where I live..... I couldn't go into what I would have done. the worse thing is I can't donate because I am just a kid and my parents would never let me. Dogs are such amazing forgiving animals.
I am a huge animal lover and I cried seeing all of these poor innocent animals in pain. This broke my heart but at the same time filled my heart with joy. Thank you so much for doing what you do.
I love these videos....my dog was a stray but was belived to have escaped from a puppy mill before being on the street and taken to a shelter where we adopted him ..we have had him now for 6 years and he is the best little man I could ever ask for

This is why I'm excited to study veterinary medicine in college. I want to help save animals and to help them trust humans more. It breaks my heart seeing animals left in poor conditions. My youngest dog was abandoned in an abandoned house,along with her sister, when they were only a month old. When we got them they were covered in fleas,cuts,dirt,and were scared to be touched. I want to be able to save an animal's life and to make an impact in spreading love for the animals.

These rescuers are helping me in my faith for humanity. Those poor animals have done nothing to deserve that. 😭
We rescued one of the dogs from this site. She's a pup from the tan dog that's barking like crazy at the beginning of the video. She spent two years in foster care before finding a home with us. She's EXTREMELY people shy, and was pretty clearly abused. But she's very loving with her new family. She's also blind in one eye, but other than that was in good health when we got her. I would encourage you to take a chance on adopting a "difficult to place" dog. It took a few weeks, but it was worth it!

The sad thing is,is that there are probably so many other places like this who have no savior and that's how they will die tied up,hungry,scared and thirsty.But I have hope that one day we may lessen the amount of animal neglect and abuse

When my local pound was underfunded by the county, and we had a frost that broke all the water pipes, and I could get no help from any officials, I called HSUS. They responded immediately, forcing the county to rebuild and stop gassing animals to death. It didn't become, "no kill" but at least they started using injections to euthanize. I started a letter writing campaign to our local newspaper, and folks were enraged at the way animals were treated. This was in Napa County, CA, one of the wealthiest places in the US. Thank you, HSUS!!!🐕🐈🐾❤❤
It's beautiful to see how happy these animals are when they're being held and cuddled, even after living like that they still show so much love for people they don't even know, just makes me smile.

To think humans live better than this. A dog's heart is so much more pure and true than most humans.
I cried at this and I sat with my dog and I told her I loved her very much and how lucky she is that was never in those situations. It breaks my heart

So We live in the country ok I was 14 and me and my mom and sister were taking a walk Down the street and this car pulls up to us asking if we were looking for our dog and we went and grapped our car and went to go look and sure enough there was about a couple months old golden lab and he had just been abandoned on the side of the road it had to have been the same day because he was still waiting for his owners to come back.. we begged our mom and dad to let us keep him and to my surprise they said yes! We’ve had sawer for 4 years now and he has truly been a blessing in my life!
