Your story is inspiring. I hope you guys grow together till death do you part. I brought my now wife home to my family in Nigeria in 2014 from China. She was fully welcomed, fully accepted, and we are happily married with three kids. My mother-in-law was in support of us which is different from your case though hard to find amongst Asians. In fact, she helped us with nursing the kids when they were babies as she would travel to the USA with us each time we went to have the babies. There is no love and acceptance greater than that. Though I didn't get to meet my father-in-law until he passed last week as things fell apart between them before I met the daughter. So, my mother-in-law was in custody of my wife all the way. My mother-in-law always told me that she had never seen a good man like me and she is happy her daughter is with me. I wasn't financially buoyant when we got married as I was just an English teacher in China neither did my wife come from a rich home but with consistency, savings and steadfastness, we are doing well financially today. I know marriages have ups and down but we are able to deal with all our situations by God's grace. Africa is the home of the mother earth which is why we are always receptive. The white world has tried all its best to destroy us but unfortunately, you can't destroy what you don't know how it comes about.

I still believe in love. Even a man with no arms & feet can still have a wife and family. Of course that man is a wealthy author and an inspirational speaker.

My uncle, who just passed a couple years ago, was Japanese. He married my aunt, the daughter of welsh immigrants, after WWII. She is now in her 80's. Their kids are all beautiful and successful people. They had a long and successful marriage. He was a good man and treated her well.

Perfect example of how love has no boundaries including color. Love is universal and is blind to society norms and expectations. Love this video!!!

@@samchs222 I met my wife 1989 in Tokyo when she was sophomore in college and got married 1994 after she graduated. She join me in fashion business doing wholesale and retail and then we move to NY after having 3 kids to give them better global education. Now we own premium sneakers store in NY and all our 3 girls are Ivy graduates making 6 figures annually. I have a lot of respect for Hikari and her husband because I can understand the hardship and trauma they went through.
