Excellent explanation with the visuals. My area of expertise is Aeronautical Meteorology so am learning a lot from your presentation From Ghana, West Africa. Thanks
@BillPalmer, many thanks, awesome video. Would you be able to do one on Fronts and the formation of ice and fog? While the concept of fronts are well described, questions relating to the formation of ice, e.g. flying from colder to warmer etc. are not and they seem extremely important to know. Cheers!
Thanks for the suggestion, however, I am concentrating on subjects that relate mostly to soaring (glider flying) and ice and fog are not real concerns for that community.
Nothing I can do for one that’s already up, but I’ll be watchful of that for the next one. This was new editing software on a new computer for me, so somewhat of a learning curve. Thanks for the comment though.
It's such an underrated explanation! ❤
Dear Bill. Many thanks from Cambridge England.
As a new glider pilot, I love the videos you put out explaining various topics.
This video helped me more than you can imagine. Thank you very much!
Nice work, great explanation, it helped me
And wow that convergence at the end!!
Thanks for YOUR new convergence video!
Great instructional video, Bill. Thanks for sharing.
Such a Cristal clear explanation

Brilliant. Perfectly detailed yet concise. Thank you!
Fantastic video! This is the best explanation of this I've found yet, and I spend a lot of time looking. Thank you!
Great animations and photos! I did have to crank my volume up to hear you well though.
Thanks. I’ll take a look at fixing the audio and reloading
Excellent video Bill! I appreciate the clear explanation along with the visuals👍🏻
This was amazing, very clear and thorough. Thank you!!

Awesome but turn the audio up you were so quiet.

Great video. But the sound volume seems really soft on this one.
Sorry about that
Always cancel everything and head to the gliderport!
