This episode of Ex Delta Soaring Adventures is one of my longer-duration videos, but it's intended for aspiring wave and cross-country pilots to give a deeper insight into the planning and execution of a wave flight. From the SkewT view to contacting Los Angles Center for flight following , transitions both downwind and upwind between lines of wave lift, and computing the actual glide ratio coming home in sink against the wind.
