  • It has been one year since the catastrophic tornado outbreak on December 10, 2021 that produced multiple EF4 tornadoes that impacted places like Hayti, MO, Mayfield and Dawson Springs, KY. I share my story from the day then go over the 2022 storm chase season.

    I remember hearing about this outbreak like it was yesterday. There were so many false clams from the news such as the quad-state tornado claim as well as the first EF-5 in 8 years. Time sure flies. And the fact that we may have another severe outbreak a year later is terrifying.

    You might have missed the Winterset tornado, but you got the Beast and that video I believe was one of the scariest tornadoes ever captured on camera. The fact that it was dark really made that tornado terrifying and dangerous. What a night it must have been for all of those directly in its path.
