@@Acriss09it’s not about seeing them again. The problem is when the kids see it… and they’re not supposed to. Actually airlines should not allow public affection because kids can be around and it’s just decency. People get uncomfortable.
Awe my mom was so against it. My daughter is 11 and shes known from a very young age. I always tell her love is love. As long as you love someone and someone loves you, the world is happy.
To be honest, I agree with 50% of what the passenger said. Public display of affection makes people uncomfortable no matter who does it. Passengers shouldn't be allowed to do it in a plane since it's inappropriate and causes discomfort to others. They can always find someplace private to do what they want. Saying it's unnatural is homophobic, but requesting passengers to stop doing it isn't. You wouldn't appreciate it if two random people started kissing each other in a packed plane when you have children.
@Simextra Because you're choosing to watch that movie, it's not something that's forced infront of you. Should public masturbation be OK too? How about public sex of any kind? If you don't like it, just don't look, right?
@Simextra Kissing is a sexual act. You wouldn't see two straight friends kissing each other would you? People who want to kiss in public should have respect for other people around them.
@Simextra Single people? It makes no difference if the person witnessing it is single or not. Making out in public is disgusting. I'd tell them to cut it out just like I'd tell people going down on each other to cut it out. Hand holding isn't a sexualized act. You hold a child's hand when crossing the street or an old person when they need help. Holding someone's hand means nothing. In my country people don't make out in public anyway so no need to stay at home.
We hav to stop using the term “homophobia” no one is scared of gay people not like/wanting to see something or not agreeing with something is not fear and a phobia is being scared or having a fear not just not liking something 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
We also use this for "hydrophobic", but like, we will both agree on this, oil is not "afraid" of water. We still all know what "hydrophobic" means. Similarly, we all know what "homophobic" means, it's an intolerant behaviour towards homosexuality and homosexual people. Moreover, if you want to thoroughly read the etymology, "homophobic" means "scared of the same" or "scared of what's alike", which doesn't make any sense per se. I can find you some other words which don't mean the exact same as their etymology: "risqué", means "risky" in French, "portmanteau", which comes from "porte-manteau" which means "coat hanger" in French, etc. Also, some people are "scared" of homosexual people, but it's a different kind of fear, not a phobia per se, I agree on this with you. Now I've said that, I'm going to ask you to find a better word in your opinion, if you say that we "have to" stop using that term. I've got an idea you could work with: "miso-" or "mis-", meaning "to hate" or "hatred" in Greek, like in "misogynist" or "misandrist", so something like "misohomosexual"
Still like that she pointed out the issue, was HER issue with ONE couple, not all the gross PDA.... I am not super old but I get grossed out at teenagers, elderly, my age, ANYONE. That's private stuff, do it privately please. But awwww your in love does also hit... for a second lol
I kinda have to side-eye people that say. “I’d be uncomfortable with ANY couple doing too much PDA.” Because the point where they often draw that line is way further for gay people (especially gay men) than it is for straight people. Some people who say that, wouldn’t be bothered by a straight couple until they’re getting to 3rd base, but the gay man who gave his husband a quick peck is “making out” Usually that statement is a caveat to a double-standard, and in my experience, it’s usually only said by people who are afraid to be called homophobic
Everytime Somebody says its unnatural I just Tell them about pinguins and swans and Other animals that often have homosexuall relationships. So Its Very Natural.

Omg that's so wholesome!!!

Option A: Seating her outside the plane.

Here the person is partially right because any couple straight or gay making out on a plane is annoying and impolite.
Any couple viciously making out in public would be a bit unsettling.
We all know the couple most likely did a peck on the cheek that homophobic Karen exaggerated as "making out."
I can't stand seeing anyone make out in public, gay or straight.
@Simextra it's inappropriate, they should be doing that stuff in private instead.
So then why are you looking moron love is love gender doesn’t matter
Now we know why she was fired from Emirates.
She wasn’t fired she resigned
I've got an idea you could work with:
"miso-" or "mis-", meaning "to hate" or "hatred" in Greek, like in "misogynist" or "misandrist", so something like "misohomosexual"
I thought Jeenie was going to kick her out of the plane LOL.

I’m really liking how lately these are just 💯. Jeenie is done being polite about insensitive people and I’m loving it.
Still like that she pointed out the issue, was HER issue with ONE couple, not all the gross PDA.... I am not super old but I get grossed out at teenagers, elderly, my age, ANYONE. That's private stuff, do it privately please. But awwww your in love does also hit... for a second lol
This is one of the times where Jeenie gives a passenger an option and doesn't throw them out of da plane like "HASTA LAVISTA BITCH"
*YA YEET*
Isn't "hasta la vista" three words, not one?
I kinda have to side-eye people that say. “I’d be uncomfortable with ANY couple doing too much PDA.” Because the point where they often draw that line is way further for gay people (especially gay men) than it is for straight people. Some people who say that, wouldn’t be bothered by a straight couple until they’re getting to 3rd base, but the gay man who gave his husband a quick peck is “making out”
Usually that statement is a caveat to a double-standard, and in my experience, it’s usually only said by people who are afraid to be called homophobic
Well, I would just let the couple be but I would be pretty uncomfortable too.
The facts that Jeenie accpted lgbt people is really sweet is rare to find these kind of people in reality nowdays..
