Sturdy samurai, i want to have like that project someday but the long wheelbase type...hope suzuki resurrect this model, simple design but functional, jimny was nit as aesthetic as this old brute.
@@Drewsoffroadgarage I was thinking the same thing when I saw it, but I am curious to know if it vibrates at speed. Samurai front diffs are pointed at a weird angle from the factory.
@@DrewsoffroadgarageIif it is working without vibration, maybe you should set the Toyotas at the same angle. It sure does get the drive shaft up out of the rocks N ext time you have the drive shaft out, it would be nice if you could reply back with what the diff angle is in relation to the transfer case angle.
Sweet rig bro, it’s good to see some new samurai content coming out.
Thanks man! I enjoy your content pretty regularly as well!
What an awesome rescue! Looks great :)
Nice ride. Im getting myself into one :)
Cool samurai not bad at all little brother. Pretty nice.
Cool! I wouldn’t do the YJ spring swap 😢
Why’s that?
I would also like to know why you think not YJs? Lots of reputable samurai guys say, if you plan to keep it plan for YJs.
Cool samurai. I’d like to know more about the adjustable power steering. Is that part of the factory wiring or did you add that?
I added it. I bought the switch from Bruno steering. I’m planning on making a video soon covering the complete set up
Is that factory 88.5 mud spotted dash. Mine exactly like that too. Same guy must put on at factory 😅
lol yeahhhhh. Ive given up on trying to keep it clean
I KNEW I RECOGNIZED THIS SAMI!!! I’m from Shelby county too did you or the PO happen to work at Toyota?
Haha yes I did about a year ago!

I’d love to have a long wheelbase samurai!
Looks like the rear dif. Is pointed up too high.
Yeah I’m not too concerned about it now as I’m in the process of swapping the axles

@@russgould707 never had an issue with it. Top speed is about 55 and it’s nice and smooth cruising at that speed

should have got a locker or left the front diff open instead of welding it
Still planning on getting a locker. Although I’ve been wheeling with the front welded for a couple years now and I haven’t had any issues yet 🤔
