These are the notes I've been obsessing over for weeks and driving my husband crazy with my horrible sense of timing as I play the same notes over and over and over. I think you just saved my marriage. Thank you!
THAT's the reason I use earphones! Love AUsher jam tracks and I think I am addicted to them! Have fun....your timing will catch up eventually and opens up a whole bunch more possibilities!
That almost sounds like Tracy Chapman's Give me one reason! I love it! Just down right wonderful! I'd give it a big fat (a) plus! This video deserves a giant round of applause!
@@ausher And you and your musician friends continue making awesome tracks! I was working out to this track, and I kept hearing Gimme one reason in my head! I love the key of (A)! For some reason, in my mind, I see daylight when I hear that note, or that cord. All other notes and cords are great, but especially (A)! (A) is very warm!
Thanks Matthew, glad you love the tracks! It's actually just me playing all the different instruments on the tracks but it's great that you think it's more than 1 person! :) The key of A definitely has a certain 'sound of positivity' to it I'd say! :) Keep up the jamming! Enjoy!
Yet another awesome track as usual thank you for all your hard work! Giving us stuff to practice with you guys are awesome spreading your knowledge thank you so much!
Play Mixolydian + b3/b5 from the Blues scale: 1-2-b3/3-4-b5-5-6-b7. Each of the 3 chords gets its own scale. Even b2-b6-7 can be played as passing tones.
I love phrasing over this jam track. It brings out the good stuff for some reason! Lol. Not trying to be a smart ass. This is probably just an ignorant question. But wouldn't this be the key of A minor? The C major scale and the A minor pentatonic sound correct which is what makes me think that...
The A minor scale will sound good over this, although it is still in the key of "A major" . That's because on the D (chord IV) I'll add some extra interest making it a D7 chord (D F# A C) it's the 7th (C) in the D which gives it that 'minor' key pull and makes the blues scale work so well over the progression. My recommendation is to use a combination over minor and major , and try 'crushing' the 3rd , going from C to C# will really add a blues flavour! Enjoy!
