What I've learned is this, it's actually better to play with the flats of your fingers than the tips. Just start throwing down mini barres everywhere. You don't have to play the dyad/triad, right? It just puts the hand in a better position where I'm not tucking anything under the board for leverage. You feel it in the wrist. Plus, sometimes you do want those dyads and triads, and they're built in.
