      Hey, what can I say? I'm sick of cop hating fools lashing out calling everything they don't agree with fascist. Fuck pigs, get rid of the police... who you gonna call when someone tries to rape, steal or murder you? The communist armed militia? This is childish, unrealistic, shortsighted and naive.
      I don't like bullies, I think USA police could really benefit from more training, I think the militarization of police is a bad path overall... but the vilification and call for abolishing it is just... the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. And there's been some REALLY dumb things I've heard.
      Also, somewhat hypocritical to call me out on use of language then insult and swear at me, no? Not that I mind being insulted... hypocrisy and moral grandstanding pisses me off however.
      Have a nice day.

If I may, we are talking to millions that are so blind that that they can watch someone bleed to death, rather it is "uncivilized" to show the blood because of copycats or decency rules, that other forms of "jokes" and "irony" need to be considered so the masses can feel things as if they happened to them....aka out of touch, out of tune, different experiences, etc.
      The whole barrel was rotten if things took to long. Someone got to "sciencing"(psst, religion) and said what would happen if we remove the rote? Yea the cops need a lot more training in loads of different fields. I think that's where you tend to get bad cops because good cops get more training so they have more tools to use in different situations compared to bad cops who have less tools and rely more on their weapons. By bad cops, i don't mean plain and simple racists and asshole cops, i just mean cops who more or less jumped the gun on a shooting

    • @sexyt-rexy9205
      @sexyt-rexy9205 3 года назад +4

      @Big Guy Except cops agree. Cops need more training in order to be able to confidently handle different situations. They need more funding and more/better training. Donut Operator, an ex cop, talked about how cops need more training in his video "DEFUND THE POLICE 8CANTWAIT". The video is a clickbait title, but in there he talks about how cops need more funding and more / better training. The thing is, there is a problem with cops in america. And this problem can be solved by funding more programs that re-burden the police and by giving more funding to cops that allows them to have more and better training.

      Problem is cops have that "us vs them" judge dred attitude and treat everyone and every situation as a threat. That is supposed to be the exception not the rule. Big city, small town, doesn't matter. I don't have a criminal record yet i have been tossed on the hood of a cop car, been in the back of a car, been threatened and chased by cops from age 14-23 then i was big enough, had no fear and they thought twice. Community policing is way more important and effective. They become part of the community they serve and actually "serve". Oh and to this day i dont trust cops, doubt i ever will. I inow there are good cops, hell i did active fed law enforcement and 4yrs of that on a special tact team so i am not saying this just to say it. We need major police reform nationwide. This would be a good approach to what an average cop model should look like. Special teams could do special jobs. This should be the public interface with LEO.

    I I've in Houston, and never in my life have I been, or seen anyone harassed by police officers. All of the cops I've met and spoken to are very nice, educated, and very helpful. I had some questions about some laws, and carrying a loaded firearm in my vehicle for protection was lawful; the cop answered my questions, gave me advice, recommended personal defense firearms, and we had a nice chat about safety. I am really grateful for these police officers, especially when some are here to help us, even though they know they are despised by most

While I don't know specifically what this guy is up to today, I can say that our protests have been a lot more peaceful than many of the other major cities. George Floyd was a Houston native and his funeral was held here. When the protests started here (they were protesting as a part of his funeral), it did not turn hostile. Our mayor (Sylvester Turner) and H.P.D.'s chief (Art Acevedo) reached out and were amicable with the protesters. Houston didn't blow up like a lot of our other cities, so I would assume that Sgt. Wick is safe and sound. Can't verify, of course, but things were pretty tame here.

    My best friend’s dad grew up next door to this man. He says that he is every bit as genuine as he appears in this video.

    This is what policing looks like...REAL policing...protecting and serving. This is a REAL Police Officer...a REAL HERO!!! Thank you so much.

    God Bless you all :) It is a horrible shame that videos like this get zero attention...but a video of an officer being, even the slightest bit, assertive/violent towards a criminal gets massive nation-wide attention. Law Enforcement always has my support, keep on fighting the good fight, brothers/sisters!
