Heb bij Whispering Sons hetzelfde zalige gevoel dat ik had als veertienjarige toen ik op Tele 21 de eerste keer New Order hoorde. Ik ben nu 47 en luister nog dagelijks naar New Order, Joy Division en aanverwanten. Wil zo snel mogelijk een optreden van WS meepikken...
Wat een opluchting dat er nog steengoeie muziek gemaakt wordt tijdens de huidige leegte aan muzikale verwondering. Heimwee naar Sisters, The Cure en andere new wave bands verdwijnt als sneeuw voor de zon bij het luisteren naar Whispering Sons!
Perhaps the best band all around now. I alwayls feel the same emotional feeling when seeing or listening them, a weird motion that recalls me late Ian Curtis. Hope WS is going to carry on this way much longer and grant us with many astonishing tracks and lps just like this one
