Jinder Mahal didn't really had a rise. He just got randomly pushed and then randomly dissapeared
Not randomly he was still in mid card after getting defeated by aj styles
just like roman reigns
Exactly exactly
Yeah that’s called a rise
Good Riddance 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
As an Indian, I can confidently say that Jinder's popularity in India, despite being a WWE champion, has not made significant headlines or generated better numbers for WWE in India. Stars like Undertaker, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Randy Orton are much more famous than him. If you were to ask the majority of Indians, they would have heard of The Great Khali but not necessarily of Jinder. In India, powerhouse stars tend to become fan favorites, and the concept of using heel tactics does not sell very well here.
Your last statement bruh, literally 90% of roman fans are indian
the problem is that jinder is used in a bad time if he had match with someone like lesnar is survivor series then he would be popular
Kayfabe is essentially still alive in India
@@ama24107 and most of them were fans when roman was an over pushed face
Roman Reigns never Cheat
To
Tribal Cbief always Cheats
2/3 members of 3MB became WWE champion!
Yes.. WWE could've even explored the possibility of reuniting 3MB back in 2020 in a renewed avatar where they're bigger, meaner, badder heels that would match or even surpass the early days of the shield or potentially even (dare I say it) evolution from 2003... They could have legendary feuds with the hurt business, new day, Wyatt family, the Usos and more. They could rule the roost, steamroll the best in the business, push NXT talents and have a roller coaster title reign, building up to becoming the 3 headed demon Requiring an assortment of extraordinary superstars to unite, culminating in an epic battle to vanquish 3MB and dismantle the faction at WrestleMania 40.
Sadly we never got to see all that.. or even world Champion Heath Slater flanked by the Universal tag team champs - the Scottish warrior and the modern day maharaja.
I think 3MB must reunite to feud bloodline and 3 mb must joined new member maybe brian cage, luchasaurus or big cass
The Indian version of Andrade. Once harlot dumps him. He’s really done
One was actually deserving and helped carry the pandemic year,(Mcintyre), while the other one got one way too fast and was terrible(Mahal).
The recent CVV revealled him to he SUCH a sweet and humble guy.
I think he's too happy to please and willing to go along with the company plans, doesnt fight for himself or his chances enough.
If they took away the firebrand "IM INDIAN" gimmick and maybe give a mouth peice manager, I think he could be a top star. However he's pushing 40, and just been released... not impossible but its very uphill from here.
Good luck to him though.
He's 33 . If guys like la is at peak at 40 why not jinder
@Bestumpire he's 37.
LA Knight is the exception to the rule. Rock and stone cold had cemented their legacy before 35.
I'm rooting for Jinder, I'm just saying, 14 years of being in the wwe limelight and it hasn't happened yet.
@@Bestumpire different scenarios, la got himself over.
@@deanobeany but he could be a descent star just go to tna instead of aew
If im jinder rn I'd reflect on everything from 2011 to now and do what most won't dissappear for 1 year return as a monster debut in AEW by attacking Hook with the mic in my hand saying who tf is Hook
They should've built him up after that promo with The Rock and his match with Seth Rollins. But I guess he'll comeback better than ever! #NeverHinderJinder
Jinder’s WWE Championship reign lacked any kind of a story, and that was the problem. It’s not the kind of thing WWE should do often (in fact, once is probably enough) but the ‘jobber got lucky’ angle could have been really interesting, especially if they’d written it as going to his head and making him believe he’s far better than he was. The reign would then be ended by having an arrogance-driven Jinder challenge AJ Styles, only to be beaten fairly easily, and then have Jinder come to see that he was wrong. It would have been a great character arc, but it was the late 2010s and ‘wtf just happened?!?’ was the main animating principle of wrestling.
Never Hinder Jinder.
Until your last name is Levesque
I literally just met him a couple days ago. Super nice guy. He was enthusiastic about taking a picture too
He looked good
Can wrestle
But due to bad bookings people didn't connect with him
Name me your top 5 Jinder matches
idk about the wrestling part but yea
He absolutely cannot wrestle. At least not at the level most of the top guys perform at.
I wish they'd treated him better
Hey guys I am Kevin Kellam, the voice and hosts of these deep dive videos. Thanks for checking it out SK Wrestling. The last year has been our biggest one yet and it is thanks to all of you letting us know with your time, your fandom, and your comments that you want MORE essay style videos like this one.
It’s not Jinders fault at all. He did his best with what he got dealt with! He has all the makings of a star, he just got treated badly in my opinion.
Jinder wasn’t a bad wrestler @ all. I would like to see him in TNA or AEW.
2017 was Jinder Mahal's best year.
2017 was one of WWE worst years.
I'm glad he got the WWE championship. It may have not been the best run. But he's successful than 90% of the roster because of it.
He's gonna go to AEW and do something with that Hook guy.
Jinder went from jobber to WWE champion back to being a jobber.
They fucked up not giving him a dominate stable when he was world champion like JBLs Cabinet.
The Singh twins were scrawny jobbers
He had a rocket strapped to his back all they way too the top till it ran out of feul
Maybe if they wouldn't have kept giving him the foreign heel who hates americans gimmick and if he didn't always have backup, he would've been a good upper card act. There was this comment I found on another video saying that even though he wouldn't have been the next top guy, he would've been a good rival/build up heel for the next top guy. He was always a solid act and he was underrated in the ring.
This was an easy story:
Jinder hit rock bottom after his release. He came back and got in shape because he wanted to be a star in the eyes of the Canadian and Indian country, as well as the WWE Universe. Keep his real life story and make him a babyface to work with top level babyfaces, and score upset wins over top heels. Then he wins the Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Randy, a tweener, defends the title till Sunmerslam against him and Rusev. It ends with Jinder, having worked hard and improved his worked, then wins the title till after survivor series (I honestly wanted to see Brock vs Jinder)
He should do movies
He's part of the lineage of the WWE championship that's about it.
I can’t believe there was ever a “rise” from this guy. He’s easily one of the very worst professional wrestlers the company has had in decades. How did he keep his job for so long?
I can’t believe they put that belt on that fucking guy.
the modern-day Maharaja king jin Jin will be back #daddy NEVER HINDER THE GINDER
It kind of sucks that he wasn’t liked.. I thought him coming back was a big improvement from how he was in the past. His promo work with the Rock was good… I think it’s was a mix of WWE and the fans hating him for no reason didn’t help. I hope what ever WWe would have planned down the road they don’t bother him,, if they do I hope he says no. It’s just time to move on and embark on a new journey.
Keep in mind wwe is under new creative management now i think one more run would totally redeem him
I would like to ask a question, please ? I remember the glory days of rasslin and the memphis territory would come to this area of North ,MS for spots. They were worked as arena style and my local civic auditorium at one point got 7 to 9 appearances yearly, getting 900 to 1100 mostly , fans
showing up .has anyone seen a wwe house show lately? Do they phone it in?thanks
I love Jinder Mahal
J.P2.R.i.P..
He didn’t have a rise he just got a major surprise push because wwe was promoting their brand in India and they wanted a Indian champion
Imo his title run was one of the better things for pro wrestling during that awful period. They killed off his main event status with terrible booking decisions. Can't blame Jinder, I thought he played the Maharaja character perfectly.
we want Jinder
I think he can do some real good in TNA
perfect 🔥 Jinder mahal in Tna i still can't beileve he got released again but if he goes to tna that would be awesome he becomes tna world heavyweight champion
His growth was not at all organic. Fans never really understood his gimmick and when he was suddenly pushed , it was straight up obnoxious. However the way he got disappeared in midcard is also quite amusing.
I remember one week he was a jobber and the next week he was a champion. CRAZY
He could have been great, the one issue that killed him was that he literally went from being a jobber to being the champion with *nothing in-between*
There was no build, there was no story, there was nothing! It felt so contrived. All one could think about seeing him winning all of a sudden was of the behind the scenes booking deciding he is good now, not the match or story on the TV. Yes I know that is how it is with every match, but his rise was so inorganic and unplanned for that it was impossible to not notice and suspend ones disbelief.
Just... wtf were they thinking, they had to have known about their expansion plans for more than 3 days... right? Why tf didn't they plan this better?
He seems like a good dude. Hope he can do well.
Don’t Hinder Jinder
If they would've built him slowly like Drew McIntyre he would've been a believable champion. He was another example of Vince trying to insult fan intelligence, and nobody bought the BS.
Can't believe jinder had 6 month reign ...and legend like rey only a night wtf wwe
Jinder mahal future plans
As much as I didn’t like his character his title run remained me of JBL title run
Mid Morgan is still employed.
His rise was just an experiment and a failed one at that. And I honestly think Jinder Mahal could have had the exact same run and it would have been slightly better if he had won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale.
Hook was 23 at the time not 21. He’s 24 now. Randy Orton, another 2# generation wrestler won is first world title at 24
3MB
If Jinder Mahal will go AEW potential
No he won't Tony Khan is a horrible booker.
They do not need him there
Dude was a VICTOR of circumstance... A business with a old school owner blindly trying to pull profits from a couple billion folks...
The only reason he got pushed was skin colour. They wanted to tap into that large potential Indian market.
#NeverHinderJinder
Jinder got fired because he didn't accept he was 6'3'5-6'4 rather than over 6'4. Same as Randy Orton.
Don’t hinder the jinder.
He is going to make good money as an independent wrestler for appearances since he will be a special attraction and him being a former wwe champion helps with his status.
Jinder made an impact as Holy S**t moment.
Cmp is over in Chicago 2 times a year .well he oughta.dusty, von erichs, funks, bruno,Lawler they were over in their home city/territory 12 to 52 times per year.
Biggest problem with Jinder’s world title reign was that nobody really mentioned how crazy this whole scenario was in universe. Maybe a passing “Smackdown is the land of opportunity” remark but for the most part commentary acted like he’s been a title contender this whole time whereas the audience was like “wtf is going on?!” I was a very new fan when Jinder won the belt and even I knew this felt wrong.
Also, the stories were bad. Jinder helped Bray win his match against Randy, and then Randy had his number pretty much every single time they had a match, and the endings basically went, Singh interference, collous, 1-2-3. It was bs. Hell we dragged out Khali to run interference in the Punjabi prison match. Shinsuke story was just Jinder being racist. If Brock didn’t wanna work with him, I can’t say I blame him. Granted I do feel bad for Jinder since he’s caught in the middle of this but can you really blame anyone here? Jinder was box office poison at the time. Only one to really blame is Vince
Bitter truth!!
Jinder Mahal WWE championship reign was better than of Kofi, BIG E n many more others
Not really jinder only ever fought Randy orton lmao it was boring
It was better than Jack swagger too
You must being freaking stupid.
first, also W video🔥
I mean Tony Khan was right thou...
Jinder Mahal is a complete Heel package but Triple H wasted his potential So He just Quit ,...MahaRaja OUT
AllState 4 life.
Randy is easy to hate as a heel, I don’t get why they didn’t just push Jinder as a babyface and put him up against Orton.
The story is douchebag heel who was born for the business vs comedy joke guy trying to get serious.
Micro feud, and it gets Mahal exposure. Orton can just not take him serious while he’s busy with Wyatt but Mahal puts EVERYTHING into his match. He beats Orton and doing this gets you a babyface
It’s more of fall rise and fall again
Wwe didn't built Jinder up
Never hinder the Jinder
Jinder got jacked from tren and enjoyed a short run at the top only to disappear
A deep roster was the only problem. It wasn’t his fault. Now watch if Jinder absorbs that INDIA market, WWE gonna come right back soft shoeing for his attention.
Who tf is Jinder?
Your dad
Lol jinder mahsl is a WWE superstar
@@user-xh8lx4td5t yes, Jinder Mashl definitely is😂
Can't say it was a fall... Vince McMahon had a fall
They hindered the jinder
Jinder greatest WWE champion ever
dont hinder jinder
What rise????
He was only chosen to tap into the indiàn market. However the WWE Indian fans dont really care about him
Looks like we have Brock Lesnar to Thank for saving WWE.
Jinder mahal the best
Can be a huge face.
KAYFABE is prominent in INDIA
We still believe UNDERTAKER died 9 times
Roman Reigns never cheats and is always screwed
John Cena fights against EVIL
Tribal Chief always cheats
bro is trying to defend jinder mahal too much in this video, mahal got the heat for the wrong reason and im sure the people backstage would have figured it out too. Mahal is not main event talent
As a wrestling fan of 40 years i can honestly say that Jinder was not a terrible champ. Im not a fan of his work , but at least WWE didnt do something predictable and keep the title on someone who didnt need it . Jinder , Swagger, Del Rio. MIZ, Khali , even as far back as Bob Backlund in his 90s run are all needed to keep fans surprised .
bro don't compare jinder to these especially del rio he is much better than him even in real life
Never liked Jinder in the slightest. His mic skills were non existent. His wrestling was mediocre at best and lacked innovation and explosiveness. He just never seemed like legit champion let alone a top guy. Honestly, bringing him back was one thing but having him beat top guys lack Randy and Shinsuke left a bad taste in my mouth.
MID MAHAL
He’s better than Cody
He can't wrestle....watch his rumble 2018 elimination and tell me I'm wrong!
I hate Jinder
Hate is a strong word
A woke wrestling channel. Skip.
He injurd seth thats why he’s gone
He should have never won and the entire program with him was a joke. He and Reigns being pushed were the 1-2 punch that pushed me out of watching weekly.
Seventh "Person of Color" to win the WWE championship, if you count Pedro Morales, Iron Sheik, Yokozuna, The Rock, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio. 🙄🥲
