Great idea for moving. I have the same ideas for frequent traveling from Houston Texas in USA to overseas to Alexandria Egypt. We have a house in both Houston Texas & in Alexandria Egypt.
Thank you! One other tip is to hand write the passengers name on a tape and stick to the different sides of suitcase/box for easy identification! Sometimes ribbons can be similar but your own hand writing is unique and very easy to identify!

Customs won't allow these items they will take out if they check from baggage....you have to get US voltage mixie or else if you are buying Indian mixie buy adapter with you

Hi...it's a normal cardboard box used for packaging....I always carry one suitcase and one cardboard box because I can carry more kgs and I don't want to spend money on buying a suitcase and after unpacking suitcase will occupy more space.

No don't want to wrap like gift box....just you can seal the openings is enough...and for extra security you can tie the rope around the box..If I am traveling from US i get box from home depot it's less than $5...if travelling from India I will ask for a cardboard box in any grocery shop / medicals they will give you big thick box...thanks for your feedback 🙂
in abroad no need to carry grinder and mixi. because everything available in abroad . all kitchen pots . are available in all rental home. no need it. only carry uour cloth and daily requirmrnt take wd u.

My daughter has travelled to San Francisco by Air India she has taken the I20 for 3 suitcases and 8 kgs cabin luggage in US ALL flats come with full equipped kitchen with microwave dishwasher oven fridge and an electric gas so she has taken just enough 3 small convection cookware with glass covers 1 fry pan and 2 microwave safe dinner plates 2 microwave bowls and 1 microwave coffee mug set of all wooden spoons and laddles cutting board butter knife and vegetable cutter there veg is mostly brocli and mushrooms she has carried 1 leather jacket and some thermal wear and few sweaters with hooded got from the north just 4 note books and a couples of pens
2 formal blazers 2 formal gowns and 2 formal shoes 1 sports Nike and 2 canvas 2 rubber slippers and Los of tee shirt 2 dozen with track pants of same 3 dozen u wears and 10 packs of sanitary pads
I think the cardboard box is highly unpractical, you cannot lift it alone if you try it will get torn, and after landing on the destination how you’re gonna carry it to taxi and from taxi to hotel or home without damaging it in the process

One tip.. Instead of keeping the lid of the cooker upright.. Keep it inside out to avoid perforation of the suitcase!!

FYI hereafter don’t take fryums masalas bcoz they may discard those items in immigration...
Grinder from India doesn't work in US .the voltage varies.much of the stuff is available in US no need to carry that much utensils.
