A look at the H Moser & Cie. Heritage Dual Time watch with burgundy dial. Moser's website - www.h-moser.co... Jacket - www.patagonia.... Cardigan - www.amazon.com...
At 22k for the watch, the only thing getting lighter is my bank account. The price is an insult. I will not spend that cash on the timepiece even though I love it.
"which I guess is not fast enough" If I had a list of your best zingers, that'd be in it. So how about those ceramic glow in the dark numerals? That's something I have never heard of. Highlight of the video. Thanks as always for the show!
I didn’t expect to chuckle out loud during a watch review, but the joke about the kudu was amazing. It’s refreshing to hear such good and honest writing about watches. Looking forward to seeing more of your reviews.
The dial is kinda like a moser had a baby with Patek! Haha. I love this watch! Just a wee bit too big! And the lugs don’t do it for me! 🙈❤️ but man. I’ve got such a thing for moser. Such a cool brand fabulous video as always!
Great video as usual. You deserve at least 500k subscribers. You are one of the best. Can't wait for the other variations like the basic model (blue dial center seconds) or the tourbillon.
Another well crafted quality video. I thoroughly enjoy watching your content and really appreciate the time and effort put in your videos. Also what a nice quirky watch
I love almost everything about this. It’s so very well considered, but as you say also not taking itself too seriously. Despite its influences it looks really fresh….the dial is gorgeous and looks to be surprisingly versatile. The one thing I don’t like, and I hesitate to say it due to your apparent assertion it’s disingenuous….but the date window. I promise I’m a positive and cheerful person in most other ways….just one that doesn’t particularly like date windows. Great video generously showing us all a piece we would most likely miss otherwise…or certainly I might.
I hope there was some protective barrier between crystal and table at 2:57 But wow H. Moser innovating numerals now. Maybe another 14 years until we see that come to more affordable watches.
Another great review. I had not really considered Moser before. However, now I find myself working on a savings plan to add this beauty to my collection.😅
If I'm paying 20 grand for a watch it better be able to tell me the date. I really like the dual time set up on this. This was a really fun look into the luxury side of the hobby!
My IWC UTC functions the same way, the hour hand also adjusts the date. This Moser is a real charmer. I love the clean dial, even the writing seems to blend into it. No distractions, simple, elegant and functional I wish I didn't know about this watch.
@@YoureTerrific I don't know how it could be done any other way. The watch tracks your home time and travel time. If you cross the international date line the travel time has to advance the date.
@@YoureTerrific You’re correct-based on my experience, this seems atypical. Usually the “primary” hour hand drives the date complication… it makes little sense to me why the “secondary” hand would drive the date. I also think I makes more sense for the primary/local hand to be the jumping hour hand. I had a PP Aquanaut 5164 (that I absolutely shouldn’t have sold, but that’s a different story for another time) and the ability to move the hour hand forward or backward (the skeleton “home time” hand would stay put) with just a push of one of the two buttons at 9 o’clock made it, for me, maybe the best watch complication in existence. The Patek also has Local / Home AM/PM windows which were super cool. *Sigh*
Fast becoming one of my fav RUclips channels; keep up the great work! Love this watch too and completely agree with your sentiment; lighten the fuck up everyone, they’re just watches!
I get the appeal of the dual time, but why not just do a gmt function? Makes it so much easier to read as you are right, how do you know if it am or pm? Beautiful watch though, but I couldn't buy this watch for traveling personally. I love your videos also!
Beautiful Moser. Your PAM 111 doesn't have a date, but many Luminor that has a date also sets it similarly with the hour hand (though no dual time function, which is kinda dumb).
1:27 couldn't agree more! I for one owned a lot of vintage watches and well with date, complete calendar and chronograph, but when I stumbled upon a really affordable worldtimer back in 1990s from Hamilton it has been my daily driver. It kinda look like a patek worldtimer, definitely check it out, though it's a quartz.
It's just a beautiful watch. The 24 time indicator being missing is a blip on functionality but looking at this watch I don't find myself thinking about functionality; I'm thinking that looks like the watch I want to own.
I do enjoy disapproving of things and we can start with high price tags like this one. It may be a nice watch in its own right but then again so is a Pagani Design sans the heart attack. Love your quips and enjoy your new (to me) opening.
The only thing I don’t like about this watch is the size of my wallet. Cheaper to hunt and make my own strap. Oh well, you’re terrific anyway. Excellent vid as usual, especially the opening. 😎👍🏼
loved that one mate, i'd definitely go for the Streamliner if it was my moneys but i do enjoy this execution, i'm a sucker for that serpentine bracelet! Thanks for keeping watches fun.
Great watch and great review. I believe most jumping hour GMT complications move the normal hour hand in the first position which also adjusts the date. The GMT hand and the hour hand move together when rotating the minute hand. I only have experience with the Explorer II I used to own but I believe that is the standard. It's very on brand that Moser takes that idea and literally reverses it.
@@YoureTerrific No they don't. This is unusual for a dual/travel time (or "traveler GMT") complication. I have a bunch of travel watches and this is the first I've seen with this configuration. In a way, it's not particularly intuitive because one would normally like to adjust the main hour hand to local time upon landing at a new location with the black hand (in this case) serving as a tracker of home. I'm just going to have to see how I can get used to living with this on an otherwise beautiful piece as I have one arriving TOMORROW (Dec21, '21)! Honestly, I was not prepared for this...I thought the main hour hand was the adjustable one - when ordering - like 99% of other travel watches (Patek 5164, Vacheron Overseas Dual Time, Patek 5134, etc). Wish me well 😆
Moser often changes the traditional way of doing things. I think the dark hand is meant to be your travel hand, so when you get to a destination in another time zone, you can set it along with the new date (if there is one). When you return home, simply set back to where it was.
Man, if they'd have put this movement in a Streamliner, a whole hell of a lot of us would have gone collectively bankrupt in 2021. Guess there's always *next* year.
I‘ve tried on the Dual Time just last week and been watching this video for the third time now …trying to make me not to like this watch. It doesn‘t work.

Glaring error in the first two minutes, and actually really disappointed that you would include such an inaccuracy in your video. While I do agree that there are other people out there (for better or worse; definitely still undecided on that), the reality is that the world **actually** revolves around me and my needs. That's something that most people know intuitively. They don't need to really be taught that, it's just a fact of life. It's a given. So for you to claim that the world revolves around you... excuse me, what?? That is so offensive to all of us who understand the Andy-Centric reality that we're ALL a part of. Including you. “Lighten the f*ck up, everyone!”, should be Moser’s new slogan.
