While you are correct, it will confuse people to call it this (stupid naming scheme…) because it’s in other vehicles like : Audi, Arteon, Jetta GLI, etc…..
I'd take a mk7/7.5 over a mk8 any day
mk8 not really a mk8 its basicaly audi they just killed golf LUL
Intercooler, beter spark plugs and a tune + dsg tune if automatic. already give you 360ish HP that you can reliably daily drive. And only costs about 2000€ that’s like wat 2200-2300dollars? And if you can install the intercooler yourself it’s even cheaper

Transmission tune? Naw dude, anyone who is upgrading a car like that better be using a manual transmission
DSG. Manual trans is for old people grandpa. You want to fast there are better autos.
@@theautumnwind2152 DSG and DCT are great gearboxes, much better than automatic. But nothing beats the feeling of left foot slowly letting out clutch, right foot on gas, left hand on wheel and right hand on shifter.
I just bought my very first car and it is a manual. The only people who choose DSG/DCT over manual are those who need track performance or can’t drive a real stick (and also those who can drive stick but don’t have it in them to actualy do the clutch gas action any more)

@@DaCatmasterX my handicap ass needs an automatic. yes i prefer manual but 3 hours of traffic jam dancing with that padal + my handicaps mean no, gimme a TQ or DCT/DSG.
