Hey, man...in the song, it's not the mother who killed a man. He's telling his mother that he 'killed a man'. And btw, that man that he 'killed' is himself. He's basically telling his mother (and the listener) that he killed the person that he used to be. And nope...there are no ladies singing in this song. The entire song is sung by the band 'Queen', who are all men. Btw, if you watch sports (NBA etc) or went to high school, you definitely know at least 2 songs from the band 'Queen' --- 'We Will We Will ROCK YOU!!" , and "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS'...lol
the song is about him confessing to his mother that he killed a man, and that man is the man that she expected him to be, which was a heterosexual man who has a family, but he’s his homosexual and he killed that man to be who he is any which he hates the fact that he has to hurt her so bad, but he has to live his truth
This song and Queen are totally rockers! My husband and I think this song is when he finds out about having aids and saying goodbye. Their are no women singing that is all them/ Freddie Mercury. You should watch their live performance from 1986, it was their last one and the best. It gives me chills every time. In 1978 I went to a Queen concert and watched them do this live. This song is a JOURNEY, Freddie fought hard to get this song made the way he envisioned it and it seamlessly intertwines so many genres and styles it is properly a masterpiece.
A long time ago, people used the sun and stars to tell time. They split the day into 24 parts, called **hours** - 12 for daytime and 12 for nighttime. Later, they made each hour smaller by dividing it into **60 minutes** and each minute into **60 seconds** because 60 is easy to divide. Then, clocks were invented to make keeping track of time even simpler!
Until the 12th/13th century most sundials were divided by 40 rather than 60. That's the definition of a "moment" as well... it's 1,5 minute, or 1/40th of an hour.
I love that you discovered that they are rock stars within the last week, something my generation knew 49 years ago, talent and music that has withstood the test of time for almost half a century now
I saw the Beastie Boys in Santa Barbara in 1995 and they used the quadraphonic sound system so the sound was circling around the entire crowd like it is in your headphones. Awesome.
‘Ya’ll hear that lady hit them notes.’ ☠️☠️ That dudes in the band! Awesome reaction… this one is always a journey for new listeners. Song went top 10 in 4 different decades.

Iconic song by an iconic band. I love this one and have for 50 years. The panning comes from splitting the stereo. These were times of limited technology so musicians and engineers had to be creative. This is a studio recording but they are filming the video as though it is live. This song is way too layered and detailed to do the entire thing live but they do use it at live shows but the intro is eliminated and the mid section is just the recorded music and the band leaves the stage. The first section after the intro is live and they return to the stage for the last portion and perform that live. There are places on this song where there are 180 overdubs and each one had to be sung and recorded over the one before it. This was recorded on 24 track tape so there was a lot of engineering that went into this recording. Today, they would just take one or two vocals then duplicate them as many times as they need to create that sound of 100 voices. That lady in the background is not a lady, that is Roger Taylor, the drummer of this band with his nearly unbelievable falsetto. There are three singers in this band, Freddie Mercury the lead singer and piano, Roger Taylor backup vocals and drums and Brian May lead guitar and backup vocals. All three are lead singers but in this band Freddie handles most of the lead vocals. John Deacon the bass guitarist didn't like to sing so he rarely is heard in the vocals. Thank you for your reaction.
you ought to try the version of this song by concert-goers at a Green Day concert in London - it'll give you the happy chills 'Green Day crowd sing Bohemian Rhapsody at the British Summer Time Festival - Hyde Park, London' 2017
Freddie KNEW how to bring a crowd to their feet. He wrote most of their songs, autotune wasn't even around, played the piano and RULED the stage. And... he was gone too soon. But 50 years later, those of us lucky enough to see him in concert are happy to see young people finding about Queen. Do you think in 50 years (or even 10 years) that anyone will be reacting to the autotuned songs of today's generation? Hell NO. My favorite Queen song is Somebody to Love.
How'd you just discover stereo sound? I'm blown away by this. What do you think "stereo" means in "stereo headphones?" You never noticed different sounds coming out each side as some instruments were just on one side? BTW, the guitar player, Brian May, is an astrophysicist. Queen's just his side hustle.
Queen were an amazing group and Freddie Mercury was a brilliant vocalist and showman. Freddie was diagnosed with aids in the mid to late 80s but instead of withdrawing from public life he wrote and performed two more songs, " show must go on " and " these are the days of our lives " he was dying and looked much thinner but unbelievably he managed to perform them so well. Please review both.
Ooh, I'd hesitate to recommend that movie as a source of information... To the best of my knowledge, the movie is about 50% fact and 50% fiction, with the story of Freddie and the band altered to give it the required emotional arc/ story dynamics for a classic Hollywood fable. To achieve that, they had to concoct conflict and drama that never happened, or came about very differently, and mess with the timelines. It's certainly entertaining and gives a really good 'feel' of the times, but for accurate information, I'd suggest something like the 'Days of our Lives' documentary video would be a better bet, IMO.
So first of all Great Content! I love your passion and the way that you're enjoying the moment. Second... I was hesitant to check out this type of stuff... but your passion for the music I grew up in drew me in at first and has kept me checking out the next video. Keep up the good work.

In my day like, as I am today, you would listen to this song from the middle of room with tower speakers in every corner and get the experience of a lifetime. Oh, and it wasn’t a lady the whole time. It was all them.
Excellent reaction! Ha! That is no woman singing the high notes in this song; that is the drummer Roger Taylor he has RANGE when he sings, he has a pretty good 'Falsetto" singing voice when it comes to it to some songs by Queen; otherwise, he has a pretty good voice for rock and roll. Queen is Freddie Mercury, (lead singer and pianist) Brian May, (Lead Guitarist and vocals), Roger Taylor, (drums and vocals), and John Deacon (Bass Guitarist). Each of them can play more than one instrument each of them wrote hit songs for their band, and each of them completed their formal education. too. Freddie Mercury had a degree in graphic art and design in 1969, Brian May earned his PhD in astrophysics in 2007, Roger Taylor has a bachelor's degree in biology, and John Deacon has a degree in Electronics in 1971. This video came up on my page today for the first time so I had to watch your reaction to see how you liked the music. Peace.

That left and right thing is just using the stereo affect as each earphone (or speaker) has it's own channel - this means each can play something different. Back then, stereo was still a relatively new thing, and the artists of the time would often make full use of it. I don't know if you've checked them out yet, but Pink Floyd were masters of this.
This song is such a classic. Look up the Green Day concert where the entire crowd - thousands of people - sing this entire song. We heard it on the radio while driving over Thanksgiving. We sang every note, every word. Just one of those songs that sticks with you because of its uniqueness. A true "Rock Opera."

It's not a woman in the background hitting that note it's the guys. They are the one of the best bands ever and Freddie Mercury is probably the best singer ever. I first heard the song the first day of school in 1976. I started middle school that year and they used to play music in the lobby of the school every morning to kind of get everybody hyped up and they played this. It was a good day. I highly recommend the movie Bohemian Rhapsody to kind of given oversight of them. As far as time is concerned it starts and stops in Greenwich England but it started with sundials

You missed out sundials and hourglasses, but yes....clocks really nailed it.
Awesome.
They weren't rock stars... they set the definition of "Rock Star" and went onto set the definition of LEGEND.
‘Ya’ll hear that lady hit them notes.’ ☠️☠️ That dudes in the band! Awesome reaction… this one is always a journey for new listeners. Song went top 10 in 4 different decades.
Once again, great job Boogie:)
That "Lady" was the drummer doing an extreme falsetto for this song.
Brian may one of the best guitarists in the world from the UK
I Want to Break Free is one of the greatest music videos of all time.
Your doing great, I've been watching you awhile now. Your growing and getting better and better. Thanks for what you do.
Glad someone beat me to it. This kid's been on fire lately and he's just getting started. Could use some Wu Tang but we'll get there.
Boogie you are absolutely grindin son! You've put out so much content in the last few weeks I don't even know how long it gonna take me to catch up! New sub and I wish you all the success you deserve with this hard work you puttin in. Gonna enjoy watching you grow on here like I did No Life Shaq❤❤
The twists and turns in this song are fun to watch reactions to lol
This is produced in the studio, so they’ve got all kinds of different things they could go in and out of the studio
Always so much fun watching a first reaction to this song.
Queen also wrote and sang all the song for the 1985 Highlander movie as well. Really elevated the movie, like the song Princes of the Universe. Would like to see your reaction for that song as well in the future.
once in a lifetime band...the harmony is mind blowing!!! priceless...it starts out as a slow song..then a heavy rock..then a very slow song at the end...its a roller coaster ride of emotions!!!
Life is really hard I agree. It’s not easy. Just having the basics with a decent quality of life is challenging each day . Your reactions make me smile .. keep it up !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨💫
that was not a lady but the drummer singing the high notes
When he said "that Lady" I lost it llol Funny video man
Iconic song by an iconic band.
Saw them in February of '77 in Springfield Mass.
Thin Lizzy opened up!
To this day it's one of the best concerts I've ever seen!
you ought to try the version of this song by concert-goers at a Green Day concert in London - it'll give you the happy chills
'Green Day crowd sing Bohemian Rhapsody at the British Summer Time Festival - Hyde Park, London' 2017
2:15 Bro just discovered stereo.
😂😂😂😂 my man looked terrified
He got stereoed😂😂
Watch the movie Bohemian Rhapsody that will give you good background information.
@papercup2517 still gives background. Surely no one would watch a movie and think it all fact.
So first of all Great Content! I love your passion and the way that you're enjoying the moment. Second... I was hesitant to check out this type of stuff... but your passion for the music I grew up in drew me in at first and has kept me checking out the next video. Keep up the good work.
'77 was a bitchin' year to be born. Your Momma has seen some shit. She remembers the time before. You need to ask her to tell you about her childhood. We've watched the world transition from analog to digital.
Great reaction to a legendary group. Mr. Boogie, you got great content every day.
Peace.
Freddie owned the stage! He had 4 extra teeth, but he never had them removed because he didn't want to do anything that would affect his performance.
Just never understood why he never was scared that the heavy smoking would damage his voice. Thankfully, it didn't.
Dude, those are the kind of questions that keep me up at night 😂 once I realized that somewhere in our past, some human just made up the way dinosaurs sound, didn’t sleep for weeks…
I love your reactions. You are quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
I trust you are not 70 , like me in London.
As you see friends, family, and lifelong heroes die, that will occupy your thoughts rather than theorizing. Enjoy life as much as you can as it gets progressively harder, though I am very fit at 70 and lucky.
@ kinda killed my light hearted joke there… yikes lol… I hope remain healthy and happy for another 70 years
@@LisaGloom I am currently hanging my head in shame because it is, usually, me who gets the joke but this time I have failed miserably and given myself a severe talking
to Lisa.😀
Good Luck and Good Health:)
Yes sir, Rock Stars!!🤘🤘
This song is such a classic. Look up the Green Day concert where the entire crowd - thousands of people - sing this entire song. We heard it on the radio while driving over Thanksgiving. We sang every note, every word. Just one of those songs that sticks with you because of its uniqueness. A true "Rock Opera."
Live aid is a good concert for you to see how they capture the crowd. all the best from Scotland. Rab
Two more songs by Queen you should listen to. We are The champions and Another one bites the dust.
We are the champions is attached to we will rock you so why not listen to it as intended then do it live from live aid or another concert
And Bicycle
The high pitch voice is roger taylor, the drummer
OMG this song is an anthem, my 15 and 18 year old daughters love it...QUEEN is rock royalty. Freddy is a genius. Kisses from Argentina 🇦🇷 by the way, I was Born in 1977 too
We had real talented musicians, notice that today only the singer is shown . In those days it was a group effort . There must be real talent out there . Come on bring it on young ones.
When stereo recordings became a thing, a lot of bands utilized this to fluctuate between left and right channels
Freddie said it took them 4 hours to complete this production, Pure geniuses.
For years I thought the actors from "Waynes World" sang this song because of the movie trailer.
My dude, you are a genuine cool dude man. Don't ever change my guy.
Genuine reactions Fam.. you are appreciated 🫡💯
Another one bites the dust. We are the champions. We will rock you.
Every hype song that you hear It.Every football game you go to, mostly Queen.
That's how legend they are
Brian May, the guitarist, is an astrophysicist. He and his father built the guitar he plays in his garage.
You really have to see the film bohemian rhapsody. They had speakers and mics flying around the studio on ropes. Believe me just watch it.
omg. i laughed so much hearing your takes =, love it
Very unique reaction style. Refreshing for sure. Keep it up.
That's what stereo is for. And that's one dude singing the high notes and everything lol
“That lady” en realidad es el baterista del grupo, Roger Taylor, que es segundo vocalista de la banda. Y aunque no lo creas lady primera parte de la canción (no la parte ópera del al medio), es solo la voz de Freddie Mercury haciendo armonías consigo mismo. Amor eterno a Queen y Freddie! Si sigues a reaccionando a Queeen nueva seguidora! ❤❤
