Jumpers in the States refers to what I'm going to call "overalls but a dress." Very popular in the 90s. I loved them.
Jumpers in the UK refers to sweaters. Something about how the word for it sounded like jump? Or something? I can't be effed to go look it up again.

Haven’t read the others but A Deadly Education and its sequel The Last Graduation were my favourite fantasy reads in 2021 and 2022 (TLG was the best book I read last year). Ninth House started off slow but then I got into it, listened to Way Down We Go by Kaleo, and next minute I’m getting the same feelings I got with A Deadly Education. They’re both similar enough to appreciate but not similar enough to start comparing.
