I’d prefer a lap desk with a flat bottom and a place to store some stationery, stamps, paperclips, etc. But that Write Well sure looks fine on on your desk. Do you think the inclination of the writing surface will discourage the cats or will they find f it helps their sleep to have their heads elevated?
Hmmm. I have my desk order in on KS and I decided to forgo the lip thing but now you have me questioning that. Luckily I have some time yet to quibble over it!
What a beautiful and useful object. I don't think I'd store an ink sample vial in the holder, though. I'd be devastated if I stained the wood with ink. And therein lies the problem -- I think I'd be too precious with this and never really use it freely.

I think Nose sat on it once, but generally he thinks there’s too much stuff out when I’m using it and just sits on my back. 😆

I haven’t been careful with it, but I will admit that I haven’t dumped any ink on it to see how it goes. :-P My regular desk, well, you’ve seen it.
