Hi Paul, Congrats, of course are in order, we normally see u working the QRP. 😁 I think the 7610 is super, and have a friend with one, he loves it, but not convinced on the touch screen longevity..I hope this rig works well for you and gives you many hours of great DX...73s LZ/AE1TP

Beautiful equipment. I wonder if sometimes you miss the selectivity of FT-2000? I've seen yours compare with IC-7300. IC-7610 is doing much better than IC-7300? The quality of your videos and comments is excellent. I am waiting for more. 73
Thank you very very much ;-) The selectivity is better on the 7610 i suppose, but pity is that i can't compare it because i sold already the FT2000 and IC7300 is no longer available here in my shack. Hello OM0ET. I have a question purely of interest. Do you think it is possible to modulate a voice at a frequency that is audible to the human ear over a certain distance?
I am not an expert, but if it will be a electromagnetic wave not a audio wave, I guess it could be possible to modulate but in very narrow spectrum. Hard to say if it could be understandable as the human voice after demodulation ;-)

It's HF (shortwave) transceiver. Therfore is possible listen only HF frequencies. On HF are AM stations or SSB hamradio or other services. I can made video with AM stations.
Yes of course. It has full range on HF. You can listen in AM SSB FM PSK RTTY or CW on all HF frequencies. After mod.you can transmit on all frqs as well. 😉 This radio has excellent receive parameters... 73 Paul OM0ET

as I'm watching im thinking man that's a lot of menus and settings I would never be able to remember where what was and what settings are on or off LOL would never be able to learn that thing LOL
LOL yeah thats true. There is a lot of menus, but honestly how many settings we use normally daily? I believe that maybe around 30 or 40%. 😉 it's not so bad because menu is very intuitive. 👍

What is your peak hold colour for the main scope? I see the lime green no problem but curious to know the peak hold colour.
The peak hold colour is grey (R:100 G:100 B:100) and the scope peak (Current) colour is green (R:0 G:255 B:0)

did anyone notice the peeks on spectrum scope are REALY small
In expand mode is possible to change the waterfall / spectrum scope ratio. If you set waterfal size to small the spectrum peaks will much increase 😉 👍
