@@JonTurner75 You're welcome😙 Darn ! I missed your live stream cause I was watching an artist draw a huge pretty wave that even Jaws would be afraid of.
What gets me is that when that coal fire had just been started the goverment could have put it out before it had distoryed so much and is STILL destroying.
Those folks who gave so much were forgotten about and they lost everything!!! IF that coal fire had just gotten on fire and was heading for the White House, or some other biggie gov. building (s) you can bet the 'fire (s)' would be put out. Very sad indeed.

That was really cool. I grew up in a company town and my Father was the Steel Shop Foreman for the Gold mine. Every few years they would bring immigrants in from different countries to work in the mines and they would get citizenship if they stayed 3 yrs. Then they could go were they wanted in the country or stay. I wish they had done something like this when they closed the mine. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤

Hi Jon - I have never been on a mine tour like that. Thank you for taking us along. I found it difficult to understand the first couple of "miners"... weren't there British miners that could have been used instead? (Not your issue... Portal 31's decision). Thanks again.

The ones 'in power' didn't care about their workers, one dies, another one get hired. Children working 60 hrs a week as well. Oh they'll be nice to their workers and give them credit to buy stuff to barely keep them alive and in debt.
Then things slowly get alittle, and little bit better but even today the same treatment pretty much happens but 'managers have learned better ways to hide their nasty practices.
I have two uncaring aptment managers who work for Hud and they claim that the thick black mold in my apt. that keeps growing into a bigger problem every day. Even useing bleach, if you can't get it all cause of being in the walls ECT it just keeps growing.
But back to the video, we owe a huge debt to those who came before us, and big time to the coal minners and their families.

@@TheSaltyExplorer It's because it was union for so long and the people who put in all of this effort to have this mine were union members and you are always loyal to that great union.
