Walkabout Minigolf is hands down the best game I have for Oculus. Me and my friends who live across the country who used to video chat every now now play minigolf while we chat instead! We watched the new levels get more and more detailed with lots of easter eggs and stuff. We can tell how much goes into this game and we appreciate every aspect of it!!! We bought every course made and will continue to do so.
Cannot begin to tell you how hyped I was when I saw the poster for Meow Wolf coming to Walkabout?! I first went in Colorado and was blown away, and just had one open by me in Texas. What a perfect place for this amazing team to collab with 🔥
I had the great pleasure of working alongside one of the Meow Wolf artists as their assistant for their first giant installations in Santa Fe. Hopping on last night and playing this was an incredible experience. Bravo, this is the best course yet.
Was just at "Convergence Station" in Denver. I learned about Meow Wolf through Walkabout and the "Laser Lair" Foxhunt. Was thrilled to find out one of the only 4 was in my hometown. Very excited to see some of what I saw at the exhibit brought into one of my favorite VR games. Hope this is a long lasting partnership.

I learned about Meow Wolf recently and would love to go. I'm glad that I get a unique slice of it at home to share with family and friends as well.
The one in Sante Fe is totally worth a visit. I enjoyed it way more than Vegas.

It's better. I have Labyrinth. I just played Meow Wolf last night and it was so magical . I did have a few times where I didn't know where to go for the next hole because of the illusions but so much to see in game I had fun on my journey looking for them

Fully embracing the theme park aspect of Walkabout is going to make it a must play game. The licensing opportunities are endless. The trick is bringing in the artistic talent to keep up and not ending up like Funko chasing every fringe license they can get. Be more like LEGO and what they did with their video games.

I've been stoked about this since the announcement, and it looks amazing! I will buy 20 of these if you can keep the partnership going. Y'all know exactly what partnerships will connect with me.

Showed Walkabout Minigolf to a friend who'd just acquired a Quest 2 a couple of weeks ago; he now owns the Whole-In-One Bundle and we're playing both locally and online together.
A couple of questions to the development team:
1) Is Walkabout Minigolf approaching its final DLC this coming year or will we continue seeing support indefinitely? I know this seems like a silly question given how hugely popular this game is and the rate at which we're still seeing DLCs, but as I look over my complete collection of Lost Balls and Putters at the Main Menu kiosk, it's almost out of room for additions as it currently stands. Of course, I'm hoping for a new "remodel" that might accommodate who knows how many more potential Lost Balls and Putters; this game already has practically endless replayability anyway but I personally don't want it to end!
2) As someone who only recently started playing VR and discovered Walkabout Minigolf myself, do you guys ever make visual tweaks to the existing Courses? After playing the INCREDIBLE Atlantis Hard Course I found myself thinking, for example, how much fauna could be lurking in the El Dorado Course (say, tropical birds and monkeys during the day or vividly colored dart frogs or slithering snakes on the plants, trees, and forest floor in the nighttime rain of the Hard Course).
Please understand these aren't complaints or criticisms of an already outstanding game, just questions from a new and avid fan! :)
I don't think they answer questions here. Only on the official discord.
But those are easy.
1. No. They have half a dozen if not more courses already in development right now. In fact a whole new series is going to be debuting next year.
2. They are working on this. But they had a lot of technical debt I think they are working on first. It seems they are finally starting to see progress on that. And we should start seeing new game modes and the updated original courses soon after.

din't know what meowwolf is, since it's only in the US but this cours was again an insta-buy! hope to see maybe more exhibitions of them as courses?

hmmm one thing. What where your thoughts on Widows Walkabout? I mean the courses espacially the last one was very boring. Do some crazy things and not the standards over and over again. I mean your game is great and me and my friends love it. But for the courses itself there could be more "pep" as we say in germany.
Ok finally! No offense...bit felt kind of jipped by the last MeowWolf course...it was neat..but all the branding and promos showed this colorful neon world and creatures and then we just got a city block with weird gravity in places. No hidden rooms or secrets. No fantastical wonder or otherworldliness....it didnt even feel like something connected to Meow Wolf.
There has never been a Meow Wolf course. This is the only one there is going to be and its not going to be playable until December.
Upside-down Town is an original course. And none of the Upsidedown Town promo's showed anything other than Upsidedown Town. Meow Wolf has been talked about around that time. But multiple courses have been talked about before. No idea how you can get that confused. They have entirely different names and environments. And its very obviously NOT connected to meow wolf. From Meow Wolfs very first announcement it was planned for fall of this year. Upsidedown town came early this year. How can your reading comprehension be this bad?
@@Wylie288 Or maybe their advertising is unclear because back when it came out the advertisements talked about meow Wolf and upside town. Sure made it seem like they were connected... It was the reason I bought upside town and was disappointed.
But that makes sense now and they did have promos that showed the colorful creatures and meow Wolf aesthetic but talked about upside town.

@@orionishi6737 Not sure how Upside Town (released on March 9, 2023) got confused with Meow Wolf (announced on March 10 but not out until December 7 next month). There likely has never been a social media post that included both. In any case, sorry you felt disappointed.
@@MightyCoconut There was. It was a picture with that neon cat dragon thing and it talked about upside town and meow wolf. It was literally the reason I even bought that course back then.
Upside town was still a good course though.

When will we be getting more intel on the Around the World in 80 Days and the second evil lair course? Laser lair is my favorite one so far, and digging the evil looking puffin for the second course logo. Super stoked for more content as I am a recent player but loving the game!
