exactly. is it so hard to imagine speedrunning online chatter just when you need it? you dont have to be terminally online. you can catch up pretty easily
Sooo Kendrick Lamar is number 2 on your rappers list, but TPAB didn't Crack top 50, GKMC barely made it top 50, and there's no kendrick album in the top 10? Kanye West performed the best on this list with 3 albums in the top 30, but he's number 11 on the rappers list...your stuff isn't correlating. I can't name 100 rap albums better than ATLiens and Me Against The World.
Cardi B in a top 100 rap album are we being serious? Over classics like Carter lll & ll, GKMC, Madvillainy, The Marshall Mathers LP and Stankonia Y’all was most definitely on a perc making this😂
@@isaaclouis105These guys r not part of hip hop culture. Drake has watered down hip hop so bad that they believe it. I grew up with real hip hop 2Pac and Biggie, Dr Dre, Snoop, Eminem, 50 cent G unit. When I first heard Kendrick, at the beginning of his career, I said this young man is coming to bring hip hop back and he did.
@tanyacandia986 although I respect your opinion, Hip-Hop never died. There is a higher concentration of talented rappers today than there's ever been. Y'all just don't want to discover them. Don't let this music industry spoon feed you music and make you believe that Hip-Hop is dead. It never died. Kendrick, Ab-Soul, JID, Saba, J. Cole, Benny the Butcher, Conway, Freddie Gibbs, Rapsody, Noname, Armani Caesar, Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, Denzel Curry, Westside Boogie, Westside Gunn, Joey Bada$$. Go through these artists. They're all lyrical rappers, and many of them are reminiscent of the 90s. There's plenty more where that came from. Also, Hip-Hop taking on different sounds such as Trap is beautiful. It's all beautiful sounding music. We have to learn to embrace Hip-Hop music. Not just one aspect of it.
@@isaaclouis105 I am from Chicago where trap music started which majority of those rappers r died or in prison. Dr. Dre is one greatest of all time and continue to lead with the greatest artists Eminem, Snoop Dog, 50 cent 2 pac and now Kendrick. To understand where I am coming those earlier rappers paved the way for the genre of hip hop bc it’s about culture. Not like trap talking about smoking on the ppl u killed which has lead to more genocide of young black men. We had two great rappers that were about to hit mainstream King Von and FBG duck and both were murdered at the start of their career. Trap music is killing the youth and causing the filling of more black males in prison. My brother was executed and there is no way would my family want to hear someone singing about my brother being smoked on. Murdered is the hardest death family members can take my brother was only 23. I am a true hip hop fan bc I come from that culture and understand the struggles. I am glad Kendrick is drowning trap music.
@tanyacandia986 I'm sorry for your loss and I wish our people would stop rapping about killing each other. Trap music started in Atlanta. I believe you're referring to Drill music, which started in Chicago. Not all Trap music is about killing. Not sure if I would consider FBG duck and Von great rappers, but they were talented. Just troubled. Also, Kendrick has incorporated Trap into his sound and has collaborated with Trap artists. It's not about drowning Trap. Kendrick, alongside Drake and J. Cole have been the biggest rappers of the last 10 years. It's about the subject matter. Rappers have been talking about killing each other since the 1980s. This is not a new generation thing.
Kendrick did the right thing first he beef with his opponent people react and decided who win. Then concert out or pop out with the songs that he win with, next he come out recording disk that went up to highest in beef and make MV with song that what you call beef with classic. On the hand after the battle won fair and square , drake is milking by put out diss song that not even working, that what you call sorely loser , he doesn’t even know when to walk with pride ,except defeat, and battle another day , instead starts bulling knot wife that coward drake has no class at all.
Drake milked tf out of his beef with Meek. Fans will probably ask for NLU to be played for years to come… it’s more than a Drake diss. Thumbs up for the 3 non OVO’ers!
All eyes on Me was hip-hop 1st double disc cd that went over 5x platinum, NATIONWIDE!.. no one in the top ten was touching Pac in 95' let alone his album sales this list is a JOKE
Commercial success was at the bottom of their criteria, which is respectable because numbers don't determine the quality of music. Not taking away from All Eyez on Me because it's a 10/10 album. Now the real question is why Invasion of Privacy is on the list and as high as it is on the list 🤔
Don't Rao Against Kendrick Ever again 😅😅😅😅what you did to meek Don't work with our tribes our culture is not for sale Aubrey neither are we colonizers we are not like you.....❤
Even if he is “milking it” - he’s obligated to. The man said “head shot for the year.” 😂
Can I point out that Whitney was wearing a wedding ring in the Not Like Us video, it was so subtle no one noticed it.
He doesn't have to milk it. Not like us will be playing excessively for the rest of 2024.👈🏿🤷🏿♂️💯💥🔥💪🏿👍🏿👏🏿👊🏿
I hope he does Not Like Us at every show he does the rest of his life. The song and this beef is so much bigger than Aubrey, and hip hop.
You forgot his Compton College commencement speech.

Lmaoooo objectively speaking To Pimp A Butterly should have been top 5. Kinda says a lot about the limited musical knowledge of the Billboard Staff.
Should've EASILY been in the top 5. No question.

At last Billboard got one thing correctly for the first time- Nas Illmatic is too phenomenal and Nas writing that at 17 is even crazier.
Illmatic Keep Static like Wool Fabric
Lauryn hill album better than Pac, biggie, 50, snoop, cube, eminem. Someone at billboard is on them drugs, her album is mostly singing.
this list is a tragedy 😂
Damn this list is terrible
😂.. agreed!
