I think if Disney really wants to try, they could do the same for Rey. I'd like to see more from her. Maybe a series would be best-Star Wars was meant for TV. Maybe have anthology style films, longer arcs for television. Give more room for writing and characters to grow. I'm excited to see where SW goes though.

      It's likely because Vader hunts down Jedi, especially those who are linked to Anakin Skywalker. Investigating a site to ensure Ahsoka had died was going to happen eventually, as she had both the knowledge of a jedi and of Anakin; the same two things that Vader is attempting to completely wipe away from the galaxy. Anakin died on Mustafar. This is the same Vader that tried to kill Ahsoka in Rebels.

    • @swizzi4794
      @swizzi4794 4 года назад +271

      @@RebelingandGaming well, idk. I don't think Anakin fully died on Mustafar. A little bit of Anakin lived in him, but when he found Ahsoka's lightsaber, Anakin officially died, and Vader came to full.

    • @bestauthorever5406
      @bestauthorever5406 4 года назад +420

      @@RebelingandGaming Lets not forget that Vader starts off his confrontation with Ahsoka by saying "We need not be adversaries." Twilight of the Apprentice occurred before Vader knew he had a son, and Ahsoka was essentially the closest thing to family Vader had left. He wanted to turn Ahsoka, just like he wanted to turn Luke, but ultimately both of them resisted the dark side, and he had to try and destroy them. The scene at the end of Clone Wars takes place early on in the reign of the empire, a time where we know Vader was in constant turmoil between the light and the dark. It's not hard to imagine that deep down Vader hoped Ahsoka had survived Order 66, and that he searched for her in hopes of finding someone who could understand him. And when he arrives at the wreck of Venator, and finds Ahsoka's lightsaber among the wreckage, the same lightsaber he gave to her, Vader comes to the conclusion that Ahsoka died in the crash. (Morai circling in the sky above also contributed to that conclusion.) A crash directly caused by his own actions. That's when the final nail is put into Anakin's coffin, he truly dies when he realizes that he killed his wife, destroyed his order, alienated his master, and now killed his apprentice. Once everything that Anakin cared about was gone, and that it was his fault, he allowed Vader and the dark side to consume him. It wouldn't be until years later when Anakin discovered that he had a son that his shift back towards the light would begin.

      And that's exactly what the end of the Clone Wars wants to hammer home.
      Vader knows what he did, and regrets it all. But he believes he can't go back. That's the reason for this scene, he's realising that his actions could've caused the death of his padawan, whom was actually going to REJOIN the Jedi Order later down the line. Causing him *regret*.

      Not only is the sentence " I won't leave you." the last thing Ahsoka says to Vader/Anakin, it's also the last thing Luke says to Vader/Anakin before Vader/Anakin dies in ROTJ.

    Best conclusion ever. Love how a couple of seconds after Ahsoka puts down her lightsaber, that her old Master had given to her, a completely different person comes up and holds her lightsaber. And as Morai flies over him, that completely different person who held Ahsoka's lightsaber, for a second transforms into Ahsoka's old Master.

    How much sadness, how much pain, in these tunes of music.
    Three years of war are over, and the fateful choice has been made ...
    And what did it give?
    Nothing...
    Victory overshadowed by grief, death, all who were dear and loved.
    What is the result?
    He was left alone, only obeying the Emperor, and an eternal burden, remembering everything and suffering all his life, doing terrible things.
    Count Dooku correctly observed: "The Path of the Sith - Betrayed
    And this life no longer makes sense.
    To be elected means to be a pawn in the hands of fate ....

    Imagine how hard was for Ahsoka to keep Vader’s identity a secret from Rex. It’s really sad watching Anakin’s story, we was a knight of the light, and then betrayed the Jedi being in regret for years after, when he meet Ahsoka again, he was to deep in the darkness. If they meet earlier and discovered their identities Vader might have been brought back to the light.....

    There is no emotion, there is peace.
    There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
    There is no passion, there is serenity.
    There is no chaos, there is harmony.
