Reading the data from thing speak channel using NodeMCU

  • Connectivity is the key to success and happiest life so we all must be connected to each other so as our devices too. So in the era of science and technology, we all want full control of all the devices locally as well as globally so that our lives become easier, simpler and manageable. and that could be possible only if all the devices could connect and communicate with each other either directly or indirectly.
    So in this session, you will learn how to use your device as a client to read and to upload the real-time data on a website (which will work as a server) www.thingspeak.com to keep you in direct touch to each device. So any change in the activity of the device will be noted and updated on the channel where the data will be updated on the website. Also, you will see the interfacing of NodeMCU with a Soil moisture sensor which will give the real-time data that needs to be updated on the website.
    Also, you will see how you can read the field data from the channel so as to use this data to control or to make the devices communicate to each other in an efficient and the faster way. In this session, we will have a hands-on experience of uploading the real-time data and to read the field data from thing speak website and also, we will see the graphical representation of the data uploaded and also you will understand the code for the reading the field data with the connecting of NodeMCU to WiFi of your home network.
