Thanks for sharing, but I can not get ThingSpeak to physically update my Nodemcu. Serial monitor says everything is still off, but it shows correct in ThingSpeak graph. and no signal to the LEDs.
and it does not print ,on the serial monitor"WiFi connected""IP address""Netmask""gateway".could it be that the Nodemcu is not connected to Network/WiFi?Best regards.

I am also getting same issues. Network is connected and it shows all 3 LEDs are off. I have also given input from link but status is reflected only on thingSpeak and not on physical node MCU. If any solution is there then kindly post it here. Village Leads India

Love the simplicity, but I can not get thing speak to physically update my wemos. Serial monitor says everything is still off, but it shows correct in thingspeak. I am lost.
So, I have got it to work. Thingspeak has to be in a public channel. If anyone knows how to use it in a private channel and willing to share that would be much appreciated.
