Awesome, David! Yes - especially when you have family, calculated risks are critical. But at some point, it requires stepping out in faith.
Let's say I'm a great designer and have many years invested in my craft, what should I do (if anything) with that skill if I open my own Digital agency and will now focus on managing it and hire others for design and other tasks?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends on what type of agency you want to build, why you want to build it, and what you want to do in it. For some, managing and delegating would be soul-sucking because they are married to the craft. For others, they want to build a business and aren’t too attached to the craft. In that case, developing the proper systems and processes for your agency’s way of doing things is critical.
@@ButlerBranding Thanks totally agree, now that you mention that I also think that I can choose what project I want to get my hands on since I'm the boss. Like if its a very important project or one I would really like to work on, but for the most part it will be all delegated.
