Other noteworthy uses of ETC02:
-Monitoring respiratory depression during conscious sedation (via ETC02 cabling hubbed into an angiocath which used to cannulate nasal prong tubing (02 set to 0l/min)
-Critical resp cases not needing the tube just yet via the same nasal prong approach (I place the nasal prong "sensor" under a facemask). Otherwise NIV mask connection works like a dream.
