Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.
This video is a collaboration with Claire form
Claire’s Crafty Corner. • Botanical Resin, Cricu...
We decided to make trays that had a similar theme.
Botanical, mixed media and cricut.
It's fascinating to see how different two people can use the same theme and come up with totally different ideas.
I don't use any real plants, mostly because I don't have any at this time but use the floral theme in the picture instead. The butterfly stickers where my mixed media, and used the cricut mostly.
Claire did something completely different and came up with an absolutely beautiful piece.
Unfortunately the mould I used is no longer available, and at this time I cannot find another of similar quality and size. So regrettably I can not link it.

Beautiful! You’ve given me an idea of how to use the 3D paper cutting designs that have been included in design bundles that I’ve bought. I’m sure you’ve learned by now that parchment paper is easier to see through than waxed paper, and it makes aligning adhesive vinyl much easier. I learned the hard way while applying decals to epoxy resin tumblers that vinyl does not want to let go of resin once it makes contact. You and Claire are definitely two of my favorites, and I’m always excited to see what you two will come up with next! ✌🏼💜🛼

Turned out LOVELY Wendy...this took some patience for sure, this is what I need to try so I can retrain myself on that wonderful attribute. Seems as I have gotten older I have lost that attribute.

I think anyone whose tried to put a protective screen on their phone.. knows how hard it is to do that without air pockets! 😆 I can tell you are going to be having way to much fun with your cry-cut.. that’s how I pronounced it too, until I watched your unboxing.🤣 So, thanks for that, tho.. The tray turned out beautiful...I have a circuit in a box somewhere, lol.i bought it years ago, only used once, my friend borrowed it to make a scrapbook for her daughter. I need to find it. I’m sure it’s outdated, but it will be great to practice on.

Hi Wendy. You know that if you use permanent vinyl you don’t have to keep putting a top coat on. It’s not like a temporary tattoo.

Just gorgeous. Use parchment paper instead of wax paper and don't use the Cricut transfer tape it is just too sticky.
