As for that smoke alarm in the hallway; that is why I'm not a fan of Kiddes - they never seem to know when to "shut up"

If I was managing how fire alarm systems were installed for you school district, I personally would have made all devices (except non-climate controlled and very moist environments will be left conventional, for example dirt floor crawl spaces and attics) addressable because I would like to know exactly which device activated. Just makes the job easier regardless of if it is a small building or big. Not trying to blast you or anything, I was just sharing my opinion.
Its at 09:12 I think there was originally a fire extinguisher where the pull station was but the fire extinguisher got relocated to a different part of the school because that spot for it wasn't great and they forgot to remove the fire extinguisher sign over the pull station. So yes a pull station is literally a fire extinguisher because once when you pull it when there's a fire, the fire department will extinguish it for you!
