I think everyone already knows how to do a factory reset. People want to find a way to unlock their device without losing their data. This video was useless.
Same here, I purchased one second hand, but cannot unlock it, never came with a code. Not worried about losing data as I am sure whoever had it before would have done this. Tried contacting Lenovo but the said the only way is to take it to a Lenovo dealer to unlock it, which will probably cost some serious dollars.
What about if it is a 10 year old samsung tab 4 galaxy, and you really need the files that are on there and you have no google account, and you forgotten password ?

@@J4keobs33ed If you don't know original owner, the the only way is to get lucky on pin guessing. Problem is no one ever removes devices from their accounts so once they no longer use they will forever be bricked, or used for parts only.

I did a system restore on an older Lenovo tablet. It was slowing down, so I wanted to start over. I only need it for the camera. Now it will not accept the password, so I can not get in. Any ideas?

For tip 3, It didint work. It jusr said: recovery mode, fastboot mode, or normal boot when u tried to do the recovery mode thing
Can't even get past hard start wont got anything keeps going back to pass code which i dont remember

If your tablet is signed to a Google account, you need to vefify PIN or enter Google account and password to regain acess to your tablet.
