    The window does seem a bit weird overlooking the bath. Presumably, they'd be able to fit a blind.
    My deal breaker is the open bridge. The captain and crew should be sealed off while they're busy operating the boat.
    Thanks for another good tour Tony 🇬🇧

    I love Ocean Alexander. There is a channel called Abbey in the Galley on RUclips. She is a yacht xhef on a 92' Ocean Alexander. Pretty good channel. 5 crew on a 100' yacht is pretty good. Normally you only get 3 or 4. Great tour Tony, look at you opening cabinets and stuff. Doing that Victoria thing of opening up everything lol. You addressed the light thing too. That's for us long time fans that started back when you posted Starship. People like me!

    The thing about Miele is that they were never designed for use on yachts. They are very prone to breaking down. Many yacht owners eventually change them out for a more reliable brand.

    So Tony what are your top 5 brands? We know you are the Riva King, but maybe you like Moonen, Lurssen, or VanDerValk better? I woukd say my top 5 are Bering, CdM, Burger, Mengi Yay or Aicon, then Cheoy Lee. Beauty, ruggedness, elegance, functionality and safety. Mengi Yay and Aicon build gorgeous yachts. I loved that Aicon you had on your channel. If I coukd get a Bering with an interior done by Aicon or Mengi Yay, that would be heaven. Numarine is good too, but there head sales guy rubbed me the wrong way.

      That's tough! There are many brands I haven't had the opportunity to tour yet. I really like Mengi Yay. I am touring a Virtus 47 next month and I am really excited for that one.

    I thought the window was fine, as you say, there wouldn't be a lot of people on the bow looking through it. I'm sure fitting some sort of blind would be easy anyway. I have never experienced a rainfall shower so it certainly wouldn't bother me not to have one - more important for me would be good water pressure. I enjoyed this yacht tour, she's a nice vessel, I especially liked the amount of deck area on the stern by the water.

    Imagine a ship where you could enjoy company where ever the people decided to set, and having Millions of dollars to create such.Then the ship builders take the foremost area and create No seats, but instead put a window into your bath... and it shows you cable stays and bulwarks...I 'm Sure I'd go with a different designer./You did a good video of this Tony.TY.

    I'm sorry, but if the range is only 1900 NM, it's not an "explorer" yacht. It is lovely, though, and a great tour, thanks.

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  11 месяцев назад +1

      That's a common sentiment I've heard about the naming of this model. The different OA Series names are Explorer, Revolution, and Legendary and they're all in the 27-37m range.

      I agree and would add that no explorer yacht would carry the tender on the swim platform.

      I spent 20 years in the navy with 12 years out at sea. 1900 nautical miles is plenty to be labeled “Explorer”.

    BEAUTIFUL VESSEL; I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE WINDOW OVER THE JACUZZI TUB, IT’S NICE TO BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT’S GOING ON OUTSIDE (SUNRISE, SUNSET, SQUALLS). IT ALSO ADDS NATURAL LIGHT DURING THE DAY & ELIMINATES THE FEELING OF CLAUSTROPHOBIA (IMO).
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Such a shame that dark wood has been used, which spoils the bright impression that the large windows gives.

    • @YachtAddiction
      @YachtAddiction  11 месяцев назад

      You could definitely opt for a lighter wood if desired! I loved the main salon windows.

    • @PoulLausen
      @PoulLausen 11 месяцев назад

      @@YachtAddiction Absolutely wonderful large windows, but it is the contrast between the large windows and the ugly dark wood, which by the way has been tried to be muted with gray plastic, that spoils a bit of the luxury. They need a designer with a sense of color and impression, and it's a shame, because the boat is cleverly designed.

      He has always had that problem. He is always in a rush. Other people, who tour yachts, take their time so you can get a good look at things. The camera work is also jerky and not smooth at all.

    HUUUM! THIS BOAT HAS A TOUGH!! LOOK TO IT! HOWEVER, IT'S SLOW! A BOAT SHOULD NEVER B SLOW, FOR REASONS OBVIOUS & AS SUCH! WOULD NEED MORE EFFICIENCY! WITH REDESIGNED DIFFERENT DYNAMIC CHINES! WITH A STRONG HEART!! FOR AN ENGINE! ALSO!, THAT BOW GLASS HOWEVER, SHOULD B CARBON ENFUSED BECAUSE IT;S IN THE BOW!! NOW TO ILLUMINATE FROM AN ENGINEERING PERSPECTIVE! THE IDEA OF PUTTING GREASE IN TRACS IS NOT AN INTELLIGENT SOLUTION FOR HAVING QUIET RUNNERS [ESPECIALLY IN AN OCEAN ENVIRONMENT SO!,THE ALTERNATIVE WOULD MORE LIKELY B SEALED PERMANENTLY LUBRICATED TRACS!! WHERE REGRETTABLY! GREASE WOULD ATTRACT & HOLD DEBRI EVENTUALLY CREATING UNWANTED DISTORSIONAL LATERAL MOVEMENT! ALL! & ALL! I 'AM TRULY GLAD! TO MEET THIS MAKE AGAIN IT'S VISUAL AESTHETIC REFINED FROM THE ONCE AUSTERE & ALMOST STERILE PLASTIC LOOK IT FORMALLY COURTED! NOW [IT'S MATURED TO A FINE BOAT!!..
