A friend of mine watched this video before I uploaded it to RUclips, and he complained that it suddenly turned red somewhere in the middle. I have no idea what he's talking about; the video looks totally fine to me.
Please note that there are several sections where the melody or bass line is off by an octave. I did this so that the two hands don't overlap with each other. It's not a mistake; it's intentional.
Also, the bass line might be incorrect in a few spots. This is because the whole song is too loud, making it hard to hear the bass line clearly. If you don't like the bass line I used/came up with, feel free to make up your own.
Same thing applies to the melody.
Several people asked WeimTime and me to do this one, so here it is! Pegasus Device! I like how it was able to incorporate some elements of Rainbow Factory in the middle of the song and at the end. Heck, it even had a bit of Awoken there! (by the way, I already did Awoken a LONG time ago, yet people are still asking me to do it...) However, the vocals were... ugh...
While there clearly is a melody to the piece, there's nothing really memorable about it. All I can remember is F# being repeated over and over again. In Rainbow Factory, there was a more dynamic melody that I can still remember quite clearly, even though I don't listen to it that often. If you asked me to sing it for you on the spot, I could probably hum the tune. For Pegasus Device? Not so much.
Obviously, what I just said doesn't apply to the sections that use the Rainbow Factory melody.
The reason why the melody bothered me is because it made it difficult to transcribe. It repeats the same notes in many sections, but each repetition is slightly different from each other, meaning I have to constantly count exactly how many notes are in each phrase and how long they all last. The easiest melodies for me are ones that contain dynamic phrases, and then repeat those phrases note for note whenever it comes back. A lot of the songs from MLP itself are like this, which is nice lol. Speaking of which, can't wait for season 5!

Just started playing this song, so far it isn't too bad, once you practice your left hand a billion times, it just starts to sink in.
I'll admit, its pretty difficult due to constant 1/4 notes but luckily there is a pattern.

Hmm ... with Season 5 coming soon to make you busier, all the recent song polls and reading (what seems to be) your "meh" feelings about transcribing this song, I'm curious what fan/official songs would the DJDelta want to transcribe?
I want to finish up all the Rainbow Rocks songs. I really liked most of them. Also, the show songs themselves are usually very good, so Season 5 should be fun to transcribe. As for fan songs, I really don't know. Admittedly, I don't listen to a lot of brony music on my own. In fact, I mainly got exposed to it from all the requests people gave me in the past. Some of the songs I got introduced to were pretty awesome, and I'm glad I got to hear them. Point is, although I do have a "meh" feeling about this song, I'm sure other fan songs will be much better

What I've read in the description, yeah I agree with you DJ. This songs isn't as good as Rainbow Factory. Reason for me is that the melody and bass are just so complicated. But I will say I like the G minor key change makes it sound very intense and I like the inclusion of Rainbow Factory in the last verse. I still think this is a pretty cool song.

Didn't expect any different from this song. It's a simple song, repetitive, and its strongest part are the lyrics, which are missing here for obvious reasons.

omg its so vool althou i think at the first part without text in the song where the tones are pretty high the piano sounds a little small i think with this "halling" like in the song itself it would sound better

***** I do get revenue, but it's a very small amount. I have almost 14K subscribers, but Weim has nearly 50K. Therefore, the amount of revenue his channel gets is much higher. Also, Weim pays me and the other people in our group to do what we do, and I get much more money from him than from my RUclips channel lol
