I have been reading comments about how you help people with anxiety by uploading on a regular schedule But I think there is more to it. Your voice is very calming, and your positive outlook on life is contagious. Even when your medical issues are a problem, it is clear you have accepted these issues. I have been sick for many years, and I stay positive by never feeling sorry for myself or compare myself to others This is the way I was "made", and I need to enjoy the life I've been given. Patti, I completely agree that Taylor can be inspiring in many ways. I've got a lot of low back pain, and sometimes when I'm feeling sorry for myself I think of all the health issues Taylor manages with such grace, and it reminds me to get over my own self. Then I laugh when I think that I'm 55 years old and comparing myself to a 20-something young woman while I'm loading the dishwasher, lol. Ah, my glamorous life.

She doesn't skip out on any details and its incredible the work she puts in for her foundation videos. I found her when I was desperately scrambling to find a foundation for my pale acne-prone skin in high school, and I'm still watching as a junior in college. She just deserves more recognition!!!
I absolutely love this foundation. I ordered it the day it came out. I have super dry skin so I use an oil before I apply any foundation and this works perfectly for me. I’ve seen other RUclipsrs review this and most of them say it’s for oily skinned people. It’s now my go to foundation. I absolutely love it!

I don’t think it’s that unsanitary to use a doe foot for makeup application. Your face is freshly washed and just has skincare on. So your face should be fairly bacteria free (aside from good bacteria that we need) I think people go too far sometimes with the germ phobia. I’m a pretty clean person so I’m not overly worried about my own products on my own face and body.
what irks me about people complaining about "unsanitary application" is that they NEVER have a problem applying lip balm from the tube directly onto their lips lol
I bought this foundation yesterday after watching this video, and wore it to a wedding I was in today. The coverage is the best I’ve tried that doesn’t look cakey on me at all. It wore beautifully from start to finish and looked bomb in the photos. It even looked the same after I broke a sweat on the dance floor during the reception. 😂 I have oily skin and had read/seen mixed reviews from others with oily skin, but I’m glad I took a chance and tried it for myself. I think it’s gonna be my new favorite!

Just bought this foundation today on a whim because I was at my wits end. I’m so in love with it, and came on here to see if you had tried it, and am so happy you liked it too. I was almost in tears when I started blending it out because it’s so rare to find a foundation that matches my skin and doesn’t look terrible!!
Slightly off topic but I finally got the CYO life proof yesterday and it’s the absolute best. It’s probably the first foundation to match my skin perfectly and doesn’t emphasize the fine lines on my forehead. Thank you for the bomb recommendation!!

I wish you would show how you would wear these foundations the 2nd day. I know that you often say "if I would wear this again I would..." or "when I wear this tomorrow I'm going to". Just to show that maybe these foundations can be maybe bearable or even prefect now that you know how they work and what they need underneath or on top.
When I’m able to I do (like the last couple foundation Friday’s) but because of my filming schedule and health I typically need every day I’m functioning to film a new video.
Would you consider using your normal primers and setting sprays on Foundation Fridays? I know the whole point is to see how it performs on it's own. But it'd be cool to see how you like it with your normal routine during reviews.
k rissa I agree, even if it’s “half face bare, half face with regular prep products & setting spray”. The sponge consistently gives less coverage and we know that, so I feel like “half face with a sponge” is less important, but that’s just my opinion and others may not agree.
I’ve thought about it but then there’s so many variables. Half brush half sponge half primer half setting spray, some people would like it but I think most prefer without anything so there’s not as big of a risk that the primer or anything else can be altering the result
thataylaa Good point. It’s impossible to please everyone so sometimes you just gotta do what you want. What you’re doing is obviously working for you, cause you’re the best beauty channel on RUclips in my opinion.
I just got this foundation and for the first time I actually feel like it makes my skin look so freaking good!! I also got the creasing on my smile lines and a little on my forehead but nothing crazy. The rest of my skin just looks so good and I’m so excited now that it worked for you!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Vanessa Paradis what skin type would you say you have if you don’t mind me asking?! I have combo skin that like the Minnesota weather I have, can never make up its mind. I can be oily, then dry and flakey, so finding a foundation to fit multiple types is something I have yet to find!
I’m a little bit of combo but more on the dry side. I think it also depends on her you prime. I use both a moisturizing primer as well as a pore minimizing primer ☺️

Everything that’s she’s recommended has been gold. I used to just watch foundation Fridays for entertainment and now that she has dryer skin it’s like a whole new world. I had a friend (who is a makeup artist) ask me what I was wearing on my face and almost everything I was wearing was recommended by Taylor. Now she’s a fan too lol
This foundation has become my new go-to foundation. I haven’t really liked a lot of products from makeup revolution but they outdid themselves with this one. I do have combination-oily skin and this is pretty matte. I use tatcha primer on my oily t-zone and a hydrating primer on the rest of my face. Thank you for the review!
I have the same skin type as you and I started using the Revlon pore primer based on you trying it and liking it. Then I after you reviewed the Tatcha primer and liked it I broke down and bought it. WELL I thought to myself I wonder how they would work together. OMG!!! The best combo to date. Use the Tatcha FIRST all over your face then the Revlon Pore Primer only in your problematic pore and fine line areas and man... no foundation separation and the Tatcha helps the Revlon LAST FOR HOURS at filling your pores and minimizing the fine lines. You HAVE to try that combo together.
Im combo/oily and i love this foundation, it stays on so well & i dont end up super shiny at the end of the day. I honestly wasnt going to try this as i didnt really like the concealer. Then i saw Casey Holmes review & decided to try it, so glad i did. I actually have been reaching for this over my double wear which is usually my go to foundation.

So i read somewhere that if you let this dry to its demi matte state before adding anything else and spray with setting powder, THEN conceal, blush, etc it would look really natural and pretty, so i tried it and have been in LOVE since!
I just opened the video but I want to scream... *I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION* ! In Jan 2019 the shade range will be extended to at least 44 shades 😍 Also, I love concealer in Super size form. Seems to perform better than standard size and I love it so much. Lol, now I'm watching haha. Love you Taylor Xx Ah, btw, my skin type is combo. After all the drama with makeup revolution lately I’m really happy that you reviewed this foundation. I placed my order and after seeing several awful reviews I was really questioning my purchase. This gives me hope that it will work for me too.
I love the fact that you have the lighting and everything set up so we can literally see every detail of your face. 99% of makeup reviews and tutorials ive seen dont actually show the texture of the real skin, its pulled back, dimmed lights, blurred etc which doesnt help me see how the makeup performs!
Finally got to test this one. Definitely for mature and dry skin is a NO: it goes straight to your lines. Too bad because it lasts and the lighest shade is perfect for me! 🙁
I’m surprised how good this looks on your dry skin. I have seen several oily people have this look dry on them. I actually love this foundation for my oily skin. It holds up well, has great coverage, and looks super smooth on my skin. ❤️
There is nothing unsanitary about the doefoot applicator. There are preservatives in all cosmetic and skincare products so that microbes cannot grow or live in our products (such as parabens, potassium sorbate, etc). There's no need to worry :)

I use the Revlon pore filling primer because of you with this as well as the catrice dewy setting spray again because of you. And it gives my foundation so much life. I have oily skin, acne prone with scarring and large pores...this totally works well on me! I do put it on in sections because it dries fast. With my sonia kashuk sponge it works great! I'll for sure test it out during my 10 hour workday :) Thank you for the honest review!

I have combo/oily skin and love this foundation. I use it with the tatcha primer, and I do set it with powder. I love that it’s a bit dewier, but it still stays on all day and doesn’t get too oily.
I couldn't wait for you to try this foundation! I got it and hated it lol. I was suprised it worked so well for you, I feel like we have similar skin types but everyone is different. Maybe i should give it another go! I ended going old school and getting Mac fluid fix foundation and I LOVE IT. best foundation I've ever worn!

We have similar skin situations now (I’ve always been dry, still loved your videos when our skin types were totally different!) and everything that you’ve recommended, I’ve tried, and loved it! I really like this foundation! I'm combo oily and this is one of the best drugstore foundations that lasts my whole 13 hour shift without blotting! I use the Becca ever matte primer in my oily zone and I'm good. I barely set the outer part of my face and it is on till I take it off. Love it!
This looks great on you! I love they have neutral undertones. Need more foundations that have true undertones. They are also so yellow or so pink and they do not work for me at all. Right now I’m obsessed with the Catrice HD serum foundation. I have several high end ones and I keep using that over and over. I may never buy another high end foundation. But I still want to try the Thrive BB blur cream. I walk dogs for a living and so daily I usually just want something I can put on with my hands over my sunscreen and out the door. I currently use one by Misha and it’s good (Korean brand) but it’s not blurring. A girl with pores always wants the blur!
Not really sure how exactly i felt about this foundation, maybe bcos i did get the wrong shades but apart from that as an oily skin girl, i found that it cant hold that long hours before all the oily and cakeyness comin thru. So glad that so many of you like it!

I’m so happy they came out with this and you liked it. I have the makeup revolution stick foundation and I love the color match but it was too heavy on the oily parts of my skin. This looks like it will be better on my combination skin.
I really like this foundation. The color is good, coverage looks good, and it doesn't seem heavy or like a full coverage foundation. Def wanna try it now👍🏻💗
I have dry sensitive skin and I loved this foundation!! Lasted all day on me (14 hrs) didn’t come off of my nose like a lot of foundations do. And beautiful satin finish which is my fave!! For me the Cons- shade range is a bit off..I got F6 light-medium with neutral undertones and it was way too light..reference-I normally wear 125/128 in maybelline FitMe. And I don’t mind the doefoot but I feel like it’s going to be hard to get all the product out when running low..also the doefoot applicator doesn’t pick up much product and it can fling product around when taking the applicator out. ps-also hates the concealer they came out with but this is a winner for me! 💕
I have been considering this foundation for the past week and kept seeing all these videos of people raving but they used heavy lights and had oily skin. I literally told myself to wait for your review to decide whether or not I wanted it, since I trust your foundation reviews more than anyone else’s, hands down. I love the concealer version. This video makes me wanna try the foundation even tho I have oily skin, I can make any foundation not oil up as long as I use the too faced hangover primers and powder.
This is my favorite foundation recently! I love it, I use a wet real technique sponge and it looks airbrushed and it doesn’t soak it up. I have super dry skin but I still set it down and it lasts all day ♥️
I have oily skin with enlarged pores and texture and I like this foundation! I’m still testing it, I’ve only worn it a few times. But I’m glad to see it worked well on your normal to dry skin. The shade I got was too light, so I mixed it with a nyx shade adjuster but I should I prob just pick up a darker shade to mix. I’m not sure if it changes the coverage/wear time by adding in the shade adjuster. Great video!
I used the tatcha silk canvas then the revolution foundation in f1, tarte shape tape, rcma colorless to bake & lightly powder. Urban decay all night setting spray. Very fair skin, normal , pores,fine lines.
I have pretty normal skin and I love this foundation. I was already in love with the concealer so when they came out with the foundation I had to try it. 10/10 recommend!
This is an awesome foundation!! I actually found a great shade on the first try and it's working well for my combo skin. I think I'm going to try that Revlon Pore Reducing Primer to see if I can get it to look even better. I find this can get pretty cakey pretty quickly. I've never tried application with a brush and now I'm thinking I should give that a shot. Great video and I'm so glad you found a winner!!
You should seriously try out the Teint Miracle by Lancôme! It’s not new by any means, however I also have dry, textured skin, and it’s my absolute favorite go to! I have a ton of foundation, and yet I still have myself reaching for it! It’s light medium coverage, and literally all I do is slap 2 pumps on my hands and smear it on, and my skin looks FLAWLESS. (And btw I usually use tools, I’m not really big into using my hands, unless it’s this foundation!)
Hey Taylor- Love your videos! You introduced me to almost all my favorite foundations (it cc illumination, wet n wild cushion, double wear nude). Just a quick note on doefoot applicators on foundation: you don’t have to worry about acne-causing bacteria (P. Acnes) growing inside your foundation, no matter how many times you swipe it on your face. P. Acnes can only grow on the skin, so it will die in your foundation bottle.
I also have dry skin & this didn't wear super well without a primer (more just got a lil uncomfortable on the cheeks) but I think this foundation looks AMAZING when it's first applied & it wears beautifully if I prime well. I felt like I was the only one who liked it because it's gotten soooo many bad reviews.

I have oily combo skin and i really like this foundation and the concealer i have shade 7 which says its a medium shade but im light and it still works for me with the undertone. I do set it but i always have to set my makeup with powder

I have oily skin but this foundation makes my face look on the dry side if I don't use a moisturizing primer. Other than the dryness I love this foundation also! On a side note I know how much you like the Catrice setting spray do I've been dying to get it but it's sold out in Ulta and I don't know where else I can find it! 😬😬
Ok I’m so on the fence with this one! I watched another review with someone with very oily skin and it was a horrible mess for her. I am 50, and despite being super oily and acne prone my whole life, I’m realizing my skin is on the drier side now, but still get a very oily nose and chin. Also worried about how it settles in pores, as mine are huge. So any ladies out there that this sounds like you, PLEASE let me know if this works for you! I've been loving a clinque foundation with that doe foot, the shade match was the best of all at my store. I was surprised to learn I like a semi-glowy finish after years of matte. So this may be a dupe possibly. 🤓😍

Slightly off topic but I finally got the CYO life proof yesterday and it’s the absolute best. It’s probably the first foundation to match my skin perfectly and doesn’t emphasize the fine lines on my forehead. Thank you for the bomb recommendation!!

I love that you tell us if the foundation sets down. I don't like to HAVE to use powder, and to me, a good foundation should set even on oilier skin
I wish you would show how you would wear these foundations the 2nd day. I know that you often say "if I would wear this again I would..." or "when I wear this tomorrow I'm going to". Just to show that maybe these foundations can be maybe bearable or even prefect now that you know how they work and what they need underneath or on top.
When I’m able to I do (like the last couple foundation Friday’s) but because of my filming schedule and health I typically need every day I’m functioning to film a new video.

Would you consider using your normal primers and setting sprays on Foundation Fridays? I know the whole point is to see how it performs on it's own. But it'd be cool to see how you like it with your normal routine during reviews.
k rissa I agree, even if it’s “half face bare, half face with regular prep products & setting spray”. The sponge consistently gives less coverage and we know that, so I feel like “half face with a sponge” is less important, but that’s just my opinion and others may not agree.

I’ve thought about it but then there’s so many variables. Half brush half sponge half primer half setting spray, some people would like it but I think most prefer without anything so there’s not as big of a risk that the primer or anything else can be altering the result
thataylaa Good point. It’s impossible to please everyone so sometimes you just gotta do what you want. What you’re doing is obviously working for you, cause you’re the best beauty channel on RUclips in my opinion.
I just got this foundation and for the first time I actually feel like it makes my skin look so freaking good!! I also got the creasing on my smile lines and a little on my forehead but nothing crazy. The rest of my skin just looks so good and I’m so excited now that it worked for you!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Vanessa Paradis what skin type would you say you have if you don’t mind me asking?! I have combo skin that like the Minnesota weather I have, can never make up its mind. I can be oily, then dry and flakey, so finding a foundation to fit multiple types is something I have yet to find!

I’m a little bit of combo but more on the dry side. I think it also depends on her you prime. I use both a moisturizing primer as well as a pore minimizing primer ☺️

I have an oily nose and normal skin elsewhere and I loved this foundation! I didn’t feel the need to use setting powder at all which was a first for me. It wore beautifully.
Everything that’s she’s recommended has been gold. I used to just watch foundation Fridays for entertainment and now that she has dryer skin it’s like a whole new world. I had a friend (who is a makeup artist) ask me what I was wearing on my face and almost everything I was wearing was recommended by Taylor. Now she’s a fan too lol
This foundation has become my new go-to foundation. I haven’t really liked a lot of products from makeup revolution but they outdid themselves with this one. I do have combination-oily skin and this is pretty matte. I use tatcha primer on my oily t-zone and a hydrating primer on the rest of my face. Thank you for the review!
I have the same skin type as you and I started using the Revlon pore primer based on you trying it and liking it. Then I after you reviewed the Tatcha primer and liked it I broke down and bought it. WELL I thought to myself I wonder how they would work together. OMG!!! The best combo to date. Use the Tatcha FIRST all over your face then the Revlon Pore Primer only in your problematic pore and fine line areas and man... no foundation separation and the Tatcha helps the Revlon LAST FOR HOURS at filling your pores and minimizing the fine lines. You HAVE to try that combo together.
Im combo/oily and i love this foundation, it stays on so well & i dont end up super shiny at the end of the day. I honestly wasnt going to try this as i didnt really like the concealer. Then i saw Casey Holmes review & decided to try it, so glad i did. I actually have been reaching for this over my double wear which is usually my go to foundation.

So i read somewhere that if you let this dry to its demi matte state before adding anything else and spray with setting powder, THEN conceal, blush, etc it would look really natural and pretty, so i tried it and have been in LOVE since!
I just opened the video but I want to scream... *I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION* ! In Jan 2019 the shade range will be extended to at least 44 shades 😍 Also, I love concealer in Super size form. Seems to perform better than standard size and I love it so much. Lol, now I'm watching haha. Love you Taylor Xx

After all the drama with makeup revolution lately I’m really happy that you reviewed this foundation. I placed my order and after seeing several awful reviews I was really questioning my purchase. This gives me hope that it will work for me too.
I love the fact that you have the lighting and everything set up so we can literally see every detail of your face. 99% of makeup reviews and tutorials ive seen dont actually show the texture of the real skin, its pulled back, dimmed lights, blurred etc which doesnt help me see how the makeup performs!

Finally got to test this one. Definitely for mature and dry skin is a NO: it goes straight to your lines. Too bad because it lasts and the lighest shade is perfect for me! 🙁
I’m surprised how good this looks on your dry skin. I have seen several oily people have this look dry on them. I actually love this foundation for my oily skin. It holds up well, has great coverage, and looks super smooth on my skin. ❤️
There is nothing unsanitary about the doefoot applicator. There are preservatives in all cosmetic and skincare products so that microbes cannot grow or live in our products (such as parabens, potassium sorbate, etc). There's no need to worry :)
Parabens aren't good for your skin, quite a few preservatives in makeup aren't. Same for skincare.

I use the Revlon pore filling primer because of you with this as well as the catrice dewy setting spray again because of you. And it gives my foundation so much life. I have oily skin, acne prone with scarring and large pores...this totally works well on me! I do put it on in sections because it dries fast. With my sonia kashuk sponge it works great! I'll for sure test it out during my 10 hour workday :) Thank you for the honest review!

I have combo/oily skin and love this foundation. I use it with the tatcha primer, and I do set it with powder. I love that it’s a bit dewier, but it still stays on all day and doesn’t get too oily.
I couldn't wait for you to try this foundation! I got it and hated it lol. I was suprised it worked so well for you, I feel like we have similar skin types but everyone is different. Maybe i should give it another go! I ended going old school and getting Mac fluid fix foundation and I LOVE IT. best foundation I've ever worn!

I really like this foundation! I'm combo oily and this is one of the best drugstore foundations that lasts my whole 13 hour shift without blotting! I use the Becca ever matte primer in my oily zone and I'm good. I barely set the outer part of my face and it is on till I take it off. Love it!
This looks great on you! I love they have neutral undertones. Need more foundations that have true undertones. They are also so yellow or so pink and they do not work for me at all. Right now I’m obsessed with the Catrice HD serum foundation. I have several high end ones and I keep using that over and over. I may never buy another high end foundation. But I still want to try the Thrive BB blur cream. I walk dogs for a living and so daily I usually just want something I can put on with my hands over my sunscreen and out the door. I currently use one by Misha and it’s good (Korean brand) but it’s not blurring. A girl with pores always wants the blur!
Yes to more neutral undertones...I've found that a lot of k beauty and Asian beauty products have a very neutral undertone.

Not really sure how exactly i felt about this foundation, maybe bcos i did get the wrong shades but apart from that as an oily skin girl, i found that it cant hold that long hours before all the oily and cakeyness comin thru. So glad that so many of you like it!

I’m so happy they came out with this and you liked it. I have the makeup revolution stick foundation and I love the color match but it was too heavy on the oily parts of my skin. This looks like it will be better on my combination skin.

I have dry sensitive skin and I loved this foundation!! Lasted all day on me (14 hrs) didn’t come off of my nose like a lot of foundations do. And beautiful satin finish which is my fave!! For me the Cons- shade range is a bit off..I got F6 light-medium with neutral undertones and it was way too light..reference-I normally wear 125/128 in maybelline FitMe. And I don’t mind the doefoot but I feel like it’s going to be hard to get all the product out when running low..also the doefoot applicator doesn’t pick up much product and it can fling product around when taking the applicator out.
ps-also hates the concealer they came out with but this is a winner for me! 💕
I have been considering this foundation for the past week and kept seeing all these videos of people raving but they used heavy lights and had oily skin. I literally told myself to wait for your review to decide whether or not I wanted it, since I trust your foundation reviews more than anyone else’s, hands down. This is my favorite foundation recently! I love it, I use a wet real technique sponge and it looks airbrushed and it doesn’t soak it up. I have super dry skin but I still set it down and it lasts all day ♥️

I have oily skin with enlarged pores and texture and I like this foundation! I’m still testing it, I’ve only worn it a few times. But I’m glad to see it worked well on your normal to dry skin. The shade I got was too light, so I mixed it with a nyx shade adjuster but I should I prob just pick up a darker shade to mix. I’m not sure if it changes the coverage/wear time by adding in the shade adjuster. Great video!
I used the tatcha silk canvas then the revolution foundation in f1, tarte shape tape, rcma colorless to bake & lightly powder. Urban decay all night setting spray.

I have pretty normal skin and I love this foundation. I was already in love with the concealer so when they came out with the foundation I had to try it. 10/10 recommend!

This is an awesome foundation!! I actually found a great shade on the first try and it's working well for my combo skin. I think I'm going to try that Revlon Pore Reducing Primer to see if I can get it to look even better. I find this can get pretty cakey pretty quickly. I've never tried application with a brush and now I'm thinking I should give that a shot. Great video and I'm so glad you found a winner!!

You should seriously try out the Teint Miracle by Lancôme! It’s not new by any means, however I also have dry, textured skin, and it’s my absolute favorite go to! I have a ton of foundation, and yet I still have myself reaching for it! It’s light medium coverage, and literally all I do is slap 2 pumps on my hands and smear it on, and my skin looks FLAWLESS. (And btw I usually use tools, I’m not really big into using my hands, unless it’s this foundation!)

Hey Taylor- Love your videos! You introduced me to almost all my favorite foundations (it cc illumination, wet n wild cushion, double wear nude). Just a quick note on doefoot applicators on foundation: you don’t have to worry about acne-causing bacteria (P. Acnes) growing inside your foundation, no matter how many times you swipe it on your face. P. Acnes can only grow on the skin, so it will die in your foundation bottle.
I also have dry skin & this didn't wear super well without a primer (more just got a lil uncomfortable on the cheeks) but I think this foundation looks AMAZING when it's first applied & it wears beautifully if I prime well. I felt like I was the only one who liked it because it's gotten soooo many bad reviews.

I have oily combo skin and i really like this foundation and the concealer i have shade 7 which says its a medium shade but im light and it still works for me with the undertone. I do set it but i always have to set my makeup with powder

I have oily skin but this foundation makes my face look on the dry side if I don't use a moisturizing primer. Other than the dryness I love this foundation also! On a side note I know how much you like the Catrice setting spray do I've been dying to get it but it's sold out in Ulta and I don't know where else I can find it! 😬😬

Ok I’m so on the fence with this one! I watched another review with someone with very oily skin and it was a horrible mess for her. I am 50, and despite being super oily and acne prone my whole life, I’m realizing my skin is on the drier side now, but still get a very oily nose and chin. Also worried about how it settles in pores, as mine are huge. So any ladies out there that this sounds like you, PLEASE let me know if this works for you! I've been loving a clinque foundation with that doe foot, the shade match was the best of all at my store. I was surprised to learn I like a semi-glowy finish after years of matte. So this may be a dupe possibly. 🤓😍
