Good video, thanks. The outside door handle is a nightmare to get back into place again though. To get it sitting at right angle again as it pops out of that white long plastic guide so easily!
Removing the arm rest is done by sliding a flat tool inside the arm arm to depress the hidden clip that's seen in the video as a raised bump in the middle of the arm rest
1:09 how does the arm rest come off? You say it slides forward but it needs releasing somehow, the only part you don't show in an otherwise excellent video.
@blakebilodeau6005 Thanks, I final did it with a credit card. It is thin and flexible enough to slide in and release the wedged stop. Needed to go in about two thirds of the length of the card. Warning, it did slightly deform the card so best to use an old one.
Hello i have a problem with the driver door. I can lock it with the key but when i want to open it only the passangers door will open. Can you help me? Thanks!
It can be quite fiddly. We recommend leaving the door lock loose (with the screws completely removed), to allow movement and then you can line them both up easier.
@@SelectVehicleSpares gotcha! So leave the 3 bolts loose holding the door lock and then attempt to line it all up? Thanks for this. Spent about a hour fiddling and swearing yesterday 😅

You have to wedge the trim tool in between the armrest and the plastic door, which will pop the clip and allow it to slide.
