I agree with him. I've had my natural Scottish accent ever since just by watching a lot of movies, and I'm also bisaya! Actually, my scot accent's one of the reason why I limit myself from speaking in english and rather focus more on speaking taglish or bisaya to others even tho I kinda have a lot of a hard time doing so. Just like when I say 'can't', it ends up being 'cannae' and instead of saying 'do' it ends up being 'dae' or when I say 'say' it ends up with 'sae'. When I entered elementary, I was embarrassed by it. I know some might say it's kinda awesome but it wasn't the case for me. So I guess after that, you could say I had a slight trauma speaking in English. I also tried changing my accent into an American accent or a Filipino accent and naturally did so but sometimes, especially when my emotions get the best of me, my scot accent still accidentally slips. I dunno why but maybe because rather than bisaya or tagalog, I grew up having english as my first language and bec I loved watching movies with scots ever since I was a toddler (I wasn't a fan of disney Princesses but one of my most favourite Disney characters back when I was still a 3rd grader would be Merida from 'Brave') My parents weren't the one who taught me tho, they mostly converse in bisaya or taglish at home and they're both Filipino so we honestly don't know where I got my accent. It's not like I'm complaining but our parents were always away most of the time so my siblings and I grew up spending our whole day being left infront of the TV watching movies. Oh but although English was indeed my 1st language, I can't say I'm good at it. I know I still have a lot of ways to go and I also do my very best on broadening my bisaya and Filipino vocabulary. Certainly, until now, since I'm still quite ashamed of my scot accent, I only speak with my accent around the limited close friends that I'm comfortable with. I also had the ability to copy accent but Indian accent, damnnnnnn. I can't do that. I praise you
Oyv woeytid foh dthiz a loong toym. Tas bisaya pajud ang panuhak! Yaaaaaahhh!!! Bai, salute! You make me more proud / prouder (kamo na pili asay korekt) as a Pinoy and as a Bisaya.
Tagalog never should have been the “basis” of the National Language. Only less than 30% of Filipinos are Tagalog. Spanish, Chavacano, or English would have been better cuz they are more representative of the nation, culture, and history as a whole rather than just one ethnic group
Filipinos are really good at imitating accent. We use it as a play thing usually and now you can express it even more you like in tiktok, chatting with friends just for fun!
He’s kinda cute
This is the kind of guy I like .. that always doesn't like me back
You're more cute. Rawr2
Omg!! Love him!! I’ve always wanted to do this but just never had the patience to learn. Haha! My favorite is the Indian accent. And the bisaya one (mineral!!) was super funny!! Lol.
Pwedeng voice actor si kuya sa mga anime or chena. CAN'T BELIEVE HE AIN'T HIRED YET!
Hahaha classic indian accent, it's like listening to my indian colleague from region.
IT’S INDIAN ACCENT FOR MEEEEE!!! 🤩
The Indian accent tho. Hahahaha. At least to My ears it sounds really good. 👌
The British accent sounds more Trans-Atlantic to my ears. 😅
GALAWGAWA HAWDA NIYA OIE! 🤣
I have a friend who can also imitate accents the most memorable one is Aussie. Its because he was once a seaman and just went around the world.
