I've always wished I had these sliders in a production studio.
It's incredible what power the mixers have on a final record.
And I absolutely LOVE to hear the individual tracks to a song that I love so much.
The fact that even the bass drum and cymbals have their own designated track says it all!
I think we're all here just for Jon's isolated vocal, but I'm also so happy hearing each of the amazing individual musicians SO much.

A reminder of just how good Jon Bon Jovi's voice was back in the day... and this was before the days of pitch correction.
Pitch correction was available in the 80s by speeding up or slowing down sections of the tape with the vocals or using a sampler on certain words and plugging them back in.
FYI, not everyone using pitch correction today, and it's a handy tool for saving a great take that might have one note out.

what is the horn sound in the background . It's right at the 2:30/2:31 mark. It sounds out of place almost like a car horn. Right the phrase "you ask if i'll grow to be a wise man".
Hi. I think that you ask is a "Slide Guitar" or the Hammond Organ!
@@hometownstudio Yes it almost sounds like an accidental key stroke. But I would find it hard to belive that would have made it passed production. It's always stuck out to me and sounded off and not musical. Thanks for you perspecitive.

Where do you get these tracks from? Some write here that Bon Jovi released them themselves. Do many artists do this? I could use many like these for backing tracks. This version sounds much better than the ones on Spotify. I play guitar and sing.
Hi!. I found all the multitracks searching google for hours and days. Just that. You need to have patience, that´s it.
I dont think that Bon Jovi did this. Most of the times are pirate bay or samething like that.
@@hometownstudio I read a comment from someone that Jon put out his Blaze album as multitracks. Maybe it's not true.
But someone has to steal it from the record company and put it out on the internet before it can be found by us. Right?
Anyway, how many multitrack songs do you have?
@@Morten_Nielsen1979 Everything is possible, but dont think that Jon did that!. From bon jovi this is the only multitrack that i have. There are many more online. In fact there is one from "Its my life" really good over there

Gracias Agustín! Posiblemente el criterio hayan sido dos. Una, para q el espectador del canal, tenga una guía de por donde está la canción a lo largo de las partes y los saltos de tracks. X lo general, en lo personal, también para tomarla como balance con respecto a todo lo demás. Si la dejo para el final, seguramente ya me aparecerá mas baja y tendré q subirla mas de lo q normalmente lo hubiera hecho. De algún modo me funciona como "techo" para todo lo demás.

Teniendo en cuenta lo que podia hacer Beck con su guitarra, tengo la sensacion de que cayo al estudio con una vaga idea del tema y ese solo en gran medida se lo improviso. El final, segur o que si al menos. Para mi, es la voz de Bon Jovi que lo debe estar mirando alucinado mientras graba!!!☺

I dont have a Tape Machine. I use the Console and a few years ago I bought two Icon Plattform Surfaces to Work or Automatice Faster
But I Love mi SSL. It always be the heart of our Studio
Most likely they are stems coming from Guitar Hero games. Oftentimes tracks share parts and instruments. They also have all the effects baked in. Note, he's not messing with any of them. Rick Beata uses them too for his channel. Be aware this could lead to copyright strike from both the music publisher and the game publisher who own the stems and haven't been made freely available.

I Had many Copyrights Problems all the time with all of my videos. But my Channel is Free. I dont recive any cent from any video, so RUclips didnt Block any videos becouse of that!

@@dansousa8631 Si, es extraño eso, no sabria decirte con exactitud de que se trata. Siempre me llamo la atencion tambien. Puede ser un efecto digital de algun teclado modificado. Puede ser un efecto percusivo, brasileño o mexicano el cual no logro visualizar. Por momentos tambien suena a algo pasado por el talkbox, similar al efecto que usa ritchie sambora en el inicio de "Living on a prayer", pero en este caso seria ese elemento percusivo pasado por ahi....es raro. Deberia fijarme con que nombre figura ese track en el multipista a ver si nos sirve de guia.
Tal vez alguien que lea este mensaje tambien pueda darnos una pista o algun link de algun video donde se vea!!!
@@hometownstudio un amigo percusionista, me dijo un poco que este es un instrumento llamado Jaw Harp, lo tiene en youtube, creo que eso es todo, porque hay algunas personas que informan que otros artistas lo usaron en la grabación de blaze of glory y otras canciones. Claro, es un arpa de mandíbula, quería saberlo durante mucho tiempo. gracias por su atención. abrazo!

jeff beck is using a whammy bar and making it sound like a slide dude!
vega trem vt1 will do the job!
If you listen closely after the solo, during the "yeah" part, you can hear the sustaine fall off and actually hear the springs/strings from the tremolo as jeff manipulates the whammy bar to make tgat last whistle.
