The ‘children’ are mostly actually adults and are the best young men in the world. D1 players are also very close and I wouldn’t be surprised if some ND players played on the US World Junior Team previously.
@@robertsmith908this is the u18 team. The national junior roster that competes in the World Junior Championship, is U20, meaning they’re already in the NCAA playing college hockey. The U17-U18 players were high school players or juniors before joining the NTDP.

why is a Under 18 team playing a college hockey team??
Same reason as Herb Brooks having our 1980 Olympic gold medal team play NHL teams before the Olympics.
Best Under 18s vs Less talented, physically stronger and more mature College players. It gives the USA under 18s proper competition.
Getting games together before world tournament. Practice/chemistry building. Good competition.
Us has to prepare for Canada in WJC & World championships. Not enough competition in the USHL to prepare for Team Canada
Men losing to children. Sad.
Rigged games

@@robertsmith908 and bigger stronger. Should be hitting and fighting these youngsters more. Sadly college hockey lacks toughness.
