Well really they try to look like the real person, but with obvious flaws. It gets creepier and worse with pure forms.

it's the 5.1 update, it added a new anomaly (corpse, appears in the bedroom, looks like a man who committed slip and slide)
That's the newest version of the game as said on the game page by the developer.
