Love Mixamo! Use it all the time I wish Adobe would start supporting and upgrading it
agreed! We'll eventually make a library of animations with our mocap suit but their ability to auto-rig your character to the animations is unbeatable, hopefully they keep stepping it up

This was great, thanks! Could you do a tutorial on a Mixamo character that walks along a path in C4D, and how to extend the length of the walk animation? A walk animation from Mixamo is usually too short and I can't get the figure to just carry on walking without turning it into slow motion. Thanks a lot!

Hi, great tutorial...I learned a lot by following it. I can now blend clips and sequence them using pivots. My question is: If I want a character to take a route/path that isnt straight/linear how can I do this? I would really like to be able to loop walk/run cycles and other movements on to a spline so I can choreograph my route of action. Im struggling to achieve this at the moment and was hoping there was an obvious method. Kind regards

Wish FXHome/Hitfilm was this easy to work with 3D objects and linking animations. I keep trying and Film Sensei did a nice tutorial but would be nice to have something like this cut/drag animations for a single object. Thanks.

Hi, I would like to make the BG of my animation transparent, I try to export as tif as I have with previous animations for use in after effects. But for this one, once I export it the background is all black and not transparent. Is there something in render settings that I am missing?

Hi! Is it possible to edit the appearance of the astronaut by section... for example make the helmet metal, boots leather, etc.
Yes! You can do a poly selection and apply the material(s) just to those polys. I often delete the straps entirely since they can sometimes get in the way. We've made the facemask transparent and placed in a head for the Underwater Promo. You have all kinds of options

First many thanks for your work! 2 questions. 1) I am trying to rig a brand new free obj skeleton from Adobe Stock2/12/2021. but the auto rig wont rig it...i actually brought it in to dimension and move the arms into a t-pose...but mixamo errors out telling me i haven't placed my rig points correctly? any thots 2)can i bring a downloaded animated character from Mixamo and transfer the rigging data to this new skeleton model from Adobe? many many thanks

I don't get one thing....if all the animations start at the same time,. how can you put one after another? by the time you want to start the following animation, the character is almost done. I am trying to figure it out but I don't find the solution
The animations should happen where you place them in the timeline, so it doesn't matter that they import and start at frame 0

Why does the word Mixamo seem to be involved with most Cinema4d character animation videos?
For this one we chose Mixamo because it's a great Beginner/Introductory system
@@ProductionCrate how do you feel about cinema's overall ability for character animation? I'm learning the program now, but coming from softimage I'm worried it won't be as advanced for that area. Keep in mind softimage has been dead for a few years but even back then it was way ahead of other software.
@@marcus_ohreallyus C4D is amazing for Character animation. We haven't used it for rigging, but for already rigged models it's wonderful. The Character controls are magnificent, with a lot of presets for specific animals, creatures, people, etc. We will get deeper into Character animation if we get more requests!
When I took your model into Blender the texture appeared to have square-shaped holes. Any Ideas why?

go into the materials panel and change the blend mode from alpha blend to opaque for all of the materials
