- Scissor Sever or Killer Seven ended up being such a wild anime series. It was very much expected out of a newer Chinese anime studio. It's heavy comedy and action worked really well together.

Actually such an underrated show. The comedy/action balance with the animation style where they aren't scared of doing different things is hard to find

Yeah I mostly agree with the audio part. Since I know Mandarin, the anime actually felt better with the original audio, for example the final fight in season 2, where Seven screams, it actually sounds more hyped than dub.
Fun fact: Most of the characters are voiced by the studio's workers, including the director(who voiced seven), and also some characters are voiced by the same person(e.g. Dai Bo and Green Phoenix, the person who voiced them is a professional voice actor in China)
Moments like Seven growling in season 3 is just ASMR

I love this show! Still need to watch season 3 tho!
Season 3 is by far my favorite season, it ends in a crazy place though and makes me want to watch the movie/next season as soon as it's finished.

If you haven't tried "Ling Long"/"Spirit Cage"/"Ling Cage", try it. it's a good series. Quite underrated too I think.

I love how much comedy the show has, that's one of the reasons why it's so succesful, the simplicity of the character designs is really well thought, compare how eye catching seven's design is to the over saturated Sylvie Paula from King of fighters for instance and you'll get my point

I personally thing that the Madarin version is one off the worst. Some characters just don't nailed it at some moment, like Seven in serious figths. And my favorite one is the French one. As a frenchman, many people think that french dubs are trash in anime. Which is mostly true. But scissor seven one is the best because, is story and narration aren't the same as a normal anime. They're all good, some off these voice are perfect like Cola
