Awesome job! I've been in business for 20 years here, and would love a crew of guys just like you! My hats off to you 24'x36' on your own, possible, but definitely no day off, on your day off, and doing a video of it too... much respect! Great job!
Much respect. 29 years in concrete here and you did a great job. Unlike a lot of the RUclips super heroes pouring concrete here, you know what you are talking about. You should be proud.
I will tell you what, you did a damn nice job! My Uncle was a concrete finisher for many many years, he was one of the best I had ever seen. For doing that job by your self I can tell you he would have given you very high marks. You are a man of many useful talents. Really enjoy whatching the great work you do. At almost 65 years old I have sure learned some very useful things from you. Thanks for taking the time for doing these videos. Al
Poured a lot of slabs over the years. 16 yards for one man is beyond bad ass. You have my respect and you got another subscriber. I've had a lot of people laugh at me about the pickle juice. It works!
Just had to give you a shout out on that poor! I'm 69 years in august 70 !I just poured a 15' X 20' with rebar and wire and finished by hand! OLD SCHOOL BUBBA! Getter done lol
It's great to see what people can do by themselves. I poured basement flours by myself years ago spreading with a wheelbarrow. Nobody told me that I couldn't do it so I went ahead and did it. Nowadays people listen to the experts and never get the satisfaction of accomplishing large tasks by themselves.
Nice work! Been pouring concrete my entire life. Agreed with everything you've done. Also agree that is a big pour to go at solo. Once again, nice work!
Those trees were all the help you need. It sure looks like you've poured a couple yards in your time. Cool that the one driver got out and edged for you. The pickle juice at the end was a nice touch.
Always good to see someone in this day of age with a kick ass , I can do it attitude ... Great job .!! Couldn't have done it Better myself..!!!You should be proud of your self ...!!
As all the previous comments have mentioned, job well done. Great video, great advice, great work 👍 I am looking to do my own 24x30 soon, and this helped me out, so much appreciated.
Great job it show people you can't be lazy you have to go get to it. We can save money sometimes on alot of things doing it ourselves. Thank you again for another great do yourself video. Great job 👍
Excellent work!! I started in concrete when I was 18. I used to do 12 yard garage floors all the time by myself. I’m 61 now and have a ton of respect for what you do. Great video and explanation. Just wish I could have seen the garage door depressions. Maybe you skipped that part cause you sure had your hands full. Nice finish!! 👍👍
Dam dude you the man for knocking that out alone! Me and my lady have poured all our own concrete and ran the power trowel on 3 different occasions. I agree to skip the corners and just hit it with the power trowel if you're short handed or not enough time
Man them Illinois truck drivers are no joke lol My father in law owns his own concrete business and I help him when he has big pours and never once seen a driver get out and help lol! I’ve was in the Asphalt business for 10 years and those drivers are doing good if they just make it to the job lol!!! Good work it looks good and definitely a money saver doing it yourself!!!
That's quite the job for one man. You kept a cool head and got it done. That would have been an easy job to loss if not with the sun, truck delay. Great job buddy
Damn good job. We used to pour and finish with just 2 of us. But you the man. At least you had a good driver in 2nd truck. Not many drivers lend a hand.
I love that you sold the pickle juice thing. Folks just do not get it but you are on the money. THANKS... I figure that I can do three individual 12ft by 36ft pours for my metal building.
Great job! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I always try to do things myself, because its hard to hire anyone that you can trust to do things the right way. I always end up working alone, and I didn't think anybody would tackle a bigger job than me without some help. However, after watching you build that boat by yourself and pour that concrete pad by yourself, I proclaim you to be the king of "do it yourself".
Really good video. The best DIY pad pour I've ever seen. I will subscribe for sure! And you're a trapper! That's something I know absolutely nothing about, can't wait!
I have seen crews of four and five guys screw up smaller pours than that. Lol amazing job. No concrete expert but enough to know you are good to pull that off by yourself (plus a little crazy).
If your not self employed, but are a company man. Well they got a 7 guy for one deal then. Your craftsmanship and skill matched with your work ethic is an employers dream find. As always great content. 👍🇺🇸
Nice job, I did a small pad for a bronze grave marker Saturday and by 11:00 the heat was tough thanks for the pro tip I am planning a shop so I would need help
Great work. An old timer showed me to use the depth inch and x2 in feet for the cuts. 4 inches is cut every 8 feet, 5 inches = 10 feet, 6 inches = 12 feet. It never failed.
Looked like the driver stayed for just a bit there to help finish up. Very nice. I've been on slot of jobs and they just what to drop and go. Good job there brother 👍.
You must be close to Michigan, as your vernacular is spot on. You used the word "struck off" and also called the machine, "the machine". I see that Soff Cutt saw too. This ain't day one for you.
Dang man. You aint got at least 1 buddy that would help you?
If had help then wouldn't have a cool video title.😊
in all seriousness though sometimes no help is better than poor help.
If he's like me. He prefers to work alone. Stu is a cool guy. Sure he's not hard person to become friends with.
@@CoonCreekOutdoors you rock Stu.
@@CoonCreekOutdoors Exactly! Bad help can make more work for YOU! Lol
Who needs friends when you got Pickle WAter!
Thank goodness that 2nd driver was willing to give you a bit of help. 👍
Yeah I noticed he seemed to go above & beyond compared to most drivers that spend more time watching than anything else.
@@ronselliers6951 My driver started out on the wrong foot. Would not pay attention to hand signals. Backed into the form board.
This work ethic is making Merica great again.... Respect brother!
Im a concrete finisher and let me tell you that's badass
Awesome job! I've been in business for 20 years here, and would love a crew of guys just like you! My hats off to you 24'x36' on your own, possible, but definitely no day off, on your day off, and doing a video of it too... much respect! Great job!
I love that that concrete driver was helping level the concrete
Much respect. 29 years in concrete here and you did a great job. Unlike a lot of the RUclips super heroes pouring concrete here, you know what you are talking about. You should be proud.

For a young guy you have it going on! Very refreshing to see a young man with your work ethics. Great job and really like all of your videos!
I learned something...you are an industrious guy and aren’t afraid of hard work. Great job buddy.
Just had to give you a shout out on that poor! I'm 69 years in august 70 !I just poured a 15' X 20' with rebar and wire and finished by hand! OLD SCHOOL BUBBA! Getter done lol
I’m impressed. Big job to do by yourself. Good job!👍🏻😎
Your the man!!! I'm still watching the homemade boat videos.
Great job you're one hell of a worker. No matter what you do you give 100%
Nice job bro. Props to that second driver for lending a hand. That’s a real dude right there🤙🏼
Damn! Can’t add anything to the comments. Bravo!! Thanks for the seminar! Well done
Nice work! Been pouring concrete my entire life. Agreed with everything you've done. Also agree that is a big pour to go at solo. Once again, nice work!
Super cool of that guy helping, he could have just watched.
Those trees were all the help you need. It sure looks like you've poured a couple yards in your time. Cool that the one driver got out and edged for you. The pickle juice at the end was a nice touch.
Great awesome work for just yourself. Enjoy the icecream!
Always good to see someone in this day of age with a kick ass , I can do it attitude ... Great job .!! Couldn't have done it Better myself..!!!You should be proud of your self ...!!
You're a brave man attempting this yourself. You obviously know what you're doing!
WOW. Poured enough shop floors, basement floors.. that is crazy by yourself!!!!!
As all the previous comments have mentioned, job well done. Great video, great advice, great work 👍
I am looking to do my own 24x30 soon, and this helped me out, so much appreciated.
Totally commendable that you poured a slab this size alone. Good job!
Great job!! that's amazing work on your own,i've done concrete work but never on my own thats not a game!!!
It looks good. You nailed it, great job.
Did an excellent job, especially the power trail side
The second truck driver helped out considerably, I know not his job and he didn’t do a lot but he did help.
Wow, Amazing job on that. I can't wait to see more episodes of the build!!
Thanks for posting. That is cool you did that by yourself, you know it was done exactly the way you wanted. Nice job.
i salute you ... that was hard work !!!! i have done concrete work.. and its not easy ..
Nice work man. I'm doing a solo pour pretty soon. Not quite this big though.
Wow great job. Heck of a worker. You had a lot on your plate but you devoured it. 👍
Awesome job dude! Great skills! NICE WORK!
Awesome work, thanks for taking the time to video this stuff.
Great job it show people you can't be lazy you have to go get to it. We can save money sometimes on alot of things doing it ourselves. Thank you again for another great do yourself video. Great job 👍
I'm impressed... Good job!
Good job saving money for sure
Man you are a badass doing that by yourself-great job
Great job man! Looks good! Lotta hard work for a man by himself.
I think I have a new hero ! Thanks for showing that it can be done.
Wow. No puddling on a huge solo pour like that is success.
That’s one hell of a job to do on your own. Great job!
Very impressive! One man! Wow!
You make it look so easy.
Great job! Can't wait for the framing of the new addition
I've been in the industry for a long time and that's a big job for one man , Your a Champ my friend.
Every thing i pour is by myself, I definitely feel you.
Dam dude you the man for knocking that out alone! Me and my lady have poured all our own concrete and ran the power trowel on 3 different occasions. I agree to skip the corners and just hit it with the power trowel if you're short handed or not enough time

That's a lot of mud; you give you a lot of credit for taking on that job.
That's quite the job for one man. You kept a cool head and got it done. That would have been an easy job to loss if not with the sun, truck delay. Great job buddy
Damn good job. We used to pour and finish with just 2 of us. But you the man.

Good work mate! You are like me; a one man crew.
Awesome job you are good concrete guy
Impressive! I've only seen this video but it made me subscribe. Sharing it with my husband too.
You ain't easy buddy, hats off, that's something that many wouldnt try
You are one Badass! Doing all that by yourself.
Great job! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I always try to do things myself, because its hard to hire anyone that you can trust to do things the right way. Nice work so far, can’t wait to see the finished product

From Canada. You got balls dude to take that job on your own lmfao. You made me a believer ✋👍
hydrating on pickle juice gotta love it.
Nice job. Looking forward to seeing the finished product
Concrete driver helped out. Nice of him.
Loving these building videos
Dude finisher to finisher that was pretty impressive. You even kept your cool after the deal with the ready mix
Nice job, good education.
I like the banjo music you used in the video.
Loved hearing the bobwhite in the background at the beginning. All ours in the south have disappeared.
Terry,
All gone in Michigan too!
I’ve been debating on doing a 24x36 pad with 2 inexperienced guys plus myself which am a rookie . Your Video helped me make the decision to tackle it!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE film that and post it here! This guy does it for a living. You ARE NOT HIM
You did an awesome job bud. I hope my pad turns out that good. It will be good experience one way or another.
I am impressed !!!!
Cool driver to give you a helping hand.
Really good video. The best DIY pad pour I've ever seen. I will subscribe for sure! And you're a trapper! That's something I know absolutely nothing about, can't wait!
Nice job. I am going the opposite direction. Getting rid of all the stuff I have accumulated over the years so I need less storage space.
Nice work. Wished I had those skills.
Looks great Stu. That's going to be one nice shop. Later buddy and all the best.
Very good work ! Nice !!! 😆
I have seen crews of four and five guys screw up smaller pours than that. Lol amazing job. No concrete expert but enough to know you are good to pull that off by yourself (plus a little crazy).
You are defiantly my Hero!!
Nice work on the pour brother .... Keep the great content coming... Cant wait to see the rest of the build taking shape....
Nice work! You're inspiring me to try my upcoming slab myself, cause like you said sometimes no help is better than bad help.
Looks great, good job!
Great video. I might have to try that pickle juice trick.
If your not self employed, but are a company man. Well they got a 7 guy for one deal then. Your craftsmanship and skill matched with your work ethic is an employers dream find. As always great content. 👍🇺🇸

Good Work mate that was great.
Total beast mode. I like it.
Awesome job!
Jeez dude that's hard a$$ style, I do concrete for a living and wouldn't want to lay down that much alone. Nice work.
