UNBOXING: STUDIO GHIBLI DVD COLLECTION | Animated Movie Collection

Recently I've been looking to add more Studio Ghibli movies to my collection. Although I only had one or two, whilst searching for Howl's Moving Castle over eBay, I came across a bundle collection and decided to purchase all the titles the seller had available. Here's a brief look at all the Studio Ghibli movies I was able to grab for the collection. Since I have not seen the majority of these movies, please let me know in the comments which films I should prioritise checking out. Thoughts and opinions are always appreciated! Friend I need help - which one of these contain double dvd discs ? Is it only the double disc release for Spirited Away and Howl's moving castle or some of them also have double dvds?

My favourite Ghibli is The Cat Returns. Probably because it was the first one I saw. I'd recommend doubling billing it with Whisper of the Heart its a spin off of the latter.
They are very different films though: Whisper is a coming of age romance, Cat Returns is a fantasy adventure.

Fun Fact: When Miramax was going to dub Princess Mononoke, Harvey Weinstein was going to make lots of cuts to the film due to it being “too violent”, so what Ghibli did was that they sent one of their employees to give Harvey Weinstein a package with A SAMURAI SWORD, and a note that says “No Cuts”, so they didn’t edit it.

I tried watching a handful of studio ghibli movies and I couldn't get into them the animation is beautiful but the story and characters are confusing and kinda a mess

I can defo see that with certain titles, especially with how weird certain aspects are. Maybe an acquired taste in animation? Aha
