- Thank you so much for this request!! This is another amazing song by Imagine Dragons, and it was such a fun song. Dan said in a podcast that the band wanted this song to have a Hey Jude style ending, and I only hope that I could convey it well enough...
It is to my understanding that this song was more focused on giving a voice people who are being pushed down for being different, but I believe this song may have a broader message for everyone; in fact, doesn't everyone have a point in time when they feel 'not okay,' whether it be physical or emotional? I at least felt that this song can leave everyone feeling something, so please enjoy my cover as well 😁😁
