This was my first exposure to David Garrett, love at first sight. Little did I know he was Dove Garrett's son. I saw her dance in Washington DC and saw him play in Seattle. Both of them are so beautiful and talented. I feel so lucky to have seen both of them on stage..

@A J A It is neither particularly beautiful or magnificent when compared to other recordings. The tone isnt right imo, too slow a tempo and lack of original phrasing. Also, where did the double stops ever come from! The second subject section is an insult to Dvorak. Listen to perlman or suk and then you will hear.

It is just on whatever genre of music people prefer and how creative and artist is...in this piece david still keeps the peace recognizable because 1, the melody has bot been changed, 2, the use of his vibrato is a great key factor for the romantic period in which this piece was composed, and 3, the articulation wasn't even alternated very much if not at all at least from my observation
Why are so many people degrading his music playing, at his age he still has many more years ahead of him and he could be the best violinist of his age, sure there are older and better violinists but hey, David is amazing dont rage on his great playing!
